I’ve never branded myself as a feminist before.
But considering dramas I’ve finished lately, I have to reconsider.
If I don’t like or at least connect to the heroine, no matter how appealing the hero or the drama (as a whole) is, it’s a game over.
I couldn’t really stand watching women being depicted as damsel-in-distress in dramaland any longer.
If you think man and woman deserve the same opportunities and the same rights… you are a feminist!!
And yes, dramas have all those tropes in which women always walk in high heels, always want to look pretty and always want to get married, and always need to praise a man. I understand you, I cannot relate to most drama FL.
