Also, Ik-Joon has just confirmed what I’ve been feeling about her (but hasn’t been SHOWN until now. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Sir!)

She’s been handling all the tasks including the chief resident’s since her first year. But she never shows how hard it is. We would understand if she complains or gets annoyed. She might sulk, but she doesn’t give up or complain……

Well, those of you who watch the episode know the rest.

Why does every professors (a.k.a daddys) in GS adore her?
You can see they genuinely cheer and are all happy for her upon hearing the news she’s been (fakely) proposed.
Because even though the show tricks us into thinking that she’s been favoring Ik-Joon over the others since she has hidden agenda with him, well,

SHE DOES NOT.

She’s been attending other dad’s surgery as well. Here’s proof.

But these two are the CUTEST…..
Like Woo-Joo is having a big sister. Don’t ya think so?

    Now, it makes all kinds of senses WHY the show chose this couple to be on the cover of this track.

    Official Title: Confession is not flashy

    Because their confessions are not fancy at all.
    Both confess their feelings with SILENCE.
    (These two have a lot in common)

    For her, it’s out of shyness.

    For him, he’s been battling with himself.
    It’s finally obvious to me now what’s really on his mind. That long pause…says it all.
    He didn’t even deny it this time. (Ahhh… if you count that extremely light: “aniya, what are you talking about?” as his rejection, then we are on a totally different book.

    Don’t you find Yoo Yeon-Suk’s version of the song so heartfelt?

      It’s crystal clear now but in case anyone still has any doubts.
      Actually, Ep.10 should be titled; Jung-Won’s Confession.

      Just because….

      1. He tells his mom it’s not Song-Hwa.

      3. He turns his back on her and acts as if he couldn’t care less, but his reactions suggest otherwise. He’s keeping his eyes, err, his ears wide opened for her answer.

      And if she can choose to assist his surgery, doesn’t that mean HE has also proposed (though it’s not the proposal she’s hoping for) to her?

      Also, can someone please enlighten me what is he doing HERE?????

        The only but BIGGEST problem is still his dream of priesthood.
        (I think his headache is more of a red-herring but I couldn’t be so sure. The show is the slyest among the sly. It’s a gumiho, not a fox)

        He’s leaving for Italy on December 29th. But I saw his X’ mas schedule still open.
        Can we expect something special that day?

        Also, he could fail the interview. Who knows.

        Both Jeongwon and Ikjun are under general surgery department.

          Pediatric Surgery is the whole different departments in the hospital I’m working in.

          Also we’ve been introduced that Ik-Joon & Kyeo-Wool are in 일반외과
          Jung-Won is in 소아외과
          [과 = department, major]
          Suggesting they’re affiliated with different unit.

          However, both are under the Department of Surgery, so they might be sharing office space.

            I’ve watched a review saying it differs for every hospital but in this one they are under the same department. That’s why Gyeoul can also assist for Jeongwon.

    I love how the dads cheered! In a typical kdrama, you’d expect them to sulk because she’s dating and no longer available.

      She’s been so good at her jobs, they know she’ll be able to pull it all off.

      I thought they cheered for her because if others hear you can have a life in GS they will get more residents and interns. More so that than her happiness. I mean I’m sure they are happy for her just happier for their department. Ik Jun being the exception of probably being equally happy.

    Ik-Joon and Kyeo-Wool have to be long lost father-daughter in their past lives.

    The childlike little diffident smiles she shows ONLY to him.

    The way she tries to explain why she chose to attend Jung-won’s surgery so that he would feel so betrayed. And how daddy Ik-Joon pouts. His little girl choosing another man over him. hahaha

    Gyeoul is the only resident in GS iirc so they were all so thrilled to know she’s dating. Now they can tell med students that GS isn’t THAT hard, see? People can still date even while doing GS! They were hoping to get more people into GS. In a way, maybe they are hoping for that so Gyeoul doesn’t have to be so exhausted all the time. Still, I dont doubt they appreciate Gyeoul and wants her to be happy.

        With this show, I use a lot of feelings watching.

        I feel they genuinely care and adore her. Not only because she is the only resident but she’s also a GOOD one. Like Ik-Joon decribes. They might pout she didnt choose to assist their surgery but they never stop trying to persuade her.

        When she collapsed and went to the ER, they all went to see her. The ones who cannot go sent her text messages. Min-Ha even mentioned that she admits Kyeo-Wool is indeed the GS princess.

        Sure they want to use her as a set example that GS resident can have a LIFE, so they can get more residents coming. But their reactions are more than that. They do really feel happy for her.

    This episode re-sparked my desire to find that chocolate, but it’s still not easily available to me. I first became obsessed watching IU eat it on Hyori’s Home Stay.

    I’d like to make one prediction on Winter Garden couple and hide it here;

    They WILL get a Christmas date, He’ll call her “겨울아”, but NO first kiss, and he’ll still leave for Italy at the end of episode12.

    BUT….he’ll fail the interview and come back for season2.
