Just finished Ep.10 of Hospital Playlist & feeling this STRONG URGE to rave.
Firstly, I totally respect Joon-Wan. He has moved up to the top of my great doctors list.
Secondly, Ik-Joon is my idol. He is the MOST reliable father / doctor / friend / supervisor / colleague one could ask for.
Last but DEFINITELY not the least….
YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME. Show!
You are fully aware and intentionally playing with people’s hearts on so many different levels. As I never find your preview trustworthy informative, I’ll stick with what I see in the actual airing materials;
– Winter Garden will be carried on to SS2
– As well as Joon-Wan & Ik-Soon
– Also Ik-Joon & Song-Hwa
– The Bear-Bear couple too
– Even Suk-Hyung’s parents.
Will you give no closure to any of these couples this SS?
Your romance department for sure is very busy this episode.
After episode10 we have only two left this season. I think all ships will be sailing in the SEA of UNCERTAINTY onto the next season. [Sadly, all serve as Tteokbap (bait) for us to continue watching.]
If this is going to console you at all, can I offer my optimistic thoughts;
– It is hinted quite heavily (especially this week) that Jung-Won DOES, in fact, have feelings for Kyeo-Wool. Just not intense enough to defeat his lifelong dream. Just not yet. (more post on this will be coming, I promise)
– Joon-Wan is so mature that I think he’ll figure out how to maintain his long distant relationship IF Ik-Soon would be more opened up to him.
I wouldn’t worry about these 2 couples (for now). We still have hope.
I’m most disappointed with Suk-Hung’s parents though. Their relationship is far from healthy and it’s been like this for a long time. Too long. I wouldn’t mind this much if it’s not gonna affect Suk-Hyung greatly. Should have let them go already.
Even though I had a feeling Suk-hyung’s mom would change her mind, I was disappointed when she did. The man cheated on her and is having a child with another woman but she still chooses not to divorce him! What’s the motivation behind that? Sure he may be dying but so what? It’s not like she caused his sickness and so feels guilty enough to stay.
Ik-sun and Jun-wan are open and honest enough that they will work this out. And the preview did give me some hope so I’ll hold onto that even if she leaves at the end of the season.
Yikes, only two more episodes with all these dangling plotlines? What I like about kdramas is that they don’t string you along from season to season — even when there’s a season 2, it’s starting with a fresh scenario, not from a cliffhanger. (I’m talking about real seasons, not ones created by Netflix by artificially postponing half the drama.) So I would feel really let down not to see some resolution to all the lovelines that came into focus in ep. 10. It felt like we just got to a midpoint, not a near end point.
You’re right. The end of SS1 would be the literal ‘midpoint’ of the series considering they can only secure 2 seasons as of now (I heard the news that they already signed with all the lead casts). This is why I said they are PLAYING with our feelings having no resolution for any of these couples just to lure us into watching SS2.

I’ll be happy if they sail at all. it would break my heart for any one of them to sink.
