There was a period in my life when I didn’t watch Korean dramas as it crazily raises my expectations especially with future partners. I only started watching after repeatedly seeing trailers of While You Were Sleeping on social media (it wasn’t that good in retrospect. but after years not watching, it was enough to get me curious). Since then, I’ve been selectively watching dramas (after all the silent lurking in DB hihihi)

And lately, Korean dramas have been raising my expectation with #friendshipgoals. With the social distancing restrictions in place worldwide, in a way, it comforts me, but at the same time it makes me lonely as well.

Hya!! It’s great to see you!

I definitely feel that! I’ve felt that for a while because many of my good friends are long-distance so it always makes me jealous that these drama characters all live in the same city and are with each other all the time, so it can make me feel lonely as well.

Oh yes when kdramas have horrible families and back stabbing friemds i couldn’t relate and took it as enjoyment. But now from lover, to friends to family, characters are starting to have normal lives but they’re given all good at once too that one becomes envious lol. SH is the kind of girl I wanted to be but I’m not so i instantly become jealous of her.
