Reasons to watch: If you’re in the mood for a melodrama that will make you think about the nature of love and our time on earth, pull up a chair. In Our Movie, Namgoong Min is a movie director who received critical acclaim with his debut movie. That praise turned into a bit of a curse, and years after that debut, he has yet to make another movie. That creative drought comes to an end when he decides on his next movie: a love story about someone whose time on earth is limited.

When he starts to conduct research for his script, he meets Jeon Yeo-bin, an unknown actress. Though she’s coming to terms with a diagnosis that means she may only have weeks or months left to live, she’s affable and an open book about her desire to continue acting so that she can leave behind a legacy that her loved ones can watch when she’s gone. Namgoong Min casts her as lead and as the movie production progresses, the two fall for each other despite knowing that their time together can’t last.

TL;DR: Watch for a meditation on life, love, and leaving a legacy for your loved ones. (Have your tissues handy!)

Hoping it's actually subtle contemplative melo (For instance, OWS is doing a good job in the healing gebre) rather than gimme some tears kind of pushy melo. But what's actually keeping me excited about this show is that its trailers had wonderful ost playing. So I'm excited to get my hands on them.

Just watched Ep 1 - I love it, especially NGM’s back story and the movie he’s going to re-make. JYB never disappoints and I can see she’s going to make this character her own. This is yet again another series that I wish can come in a single drop. Can’t’ wait for Ep 2.
