- Searching for meaning in sadness and the beauty of life in the latest teaser for SBS’s Our Movie, where Namgoong Min (My Dearest) and Jeon Yeo-bin (A Time Called You) will soon have us crying buckets. Slated to broadcast on weekends following The Haunted Palace, the melodrama begins its heart-tugging tale on June 13. [SBS]
- On Netflix, we can put our tissue boxes aside – though, RIP Lee Jun-hyuk (Love Scout) – as the action plan ramps up for Mercy for None in the new poster and official trailer. With So Ji-sub (Doctor Lawyer) headlining the gritty, revenge-noir, we’ll be following him into a ruthless, underground world when the webtoon-adaptation launches on June 6. [KBS]
- Promos are picking up steam for Netflix’s Squid Game 3 as well, with our Player 456 Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game 2) leading the track pack once again in the newest poster. Also bringing back Im Shi-wan (Squid Game 2) and Kang Haneul (Tastefully Yours) among other Season 2 survivors, the final playground battle will be unleashing on June 27, with production remaining in the hands of series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk. [KBS]
- Over on KBS, discussions are reportedly underway concerning their primetime dramas in the current Wednesday-Thursday slot. Although their August drama Twelve, starring Ma Dong-seok (The Roundup: Punishment) and Park Hyung-shik (Buried Hearts), was slated for weekends from the start, the proposed idea is to continue on weekends with the rest of their 2025 lineup: Eun-soo’s Good Day starring Lee Young-ae (Maestra: Strings of Truth), Last Summer featuring Lee Jae-wook (Dear Hongrang), Choi Sung-eun (My Name is Loh Kiwan), and Dear Bandit starring Nam Ji-hyun (Good Partner) and Moon Sang-min (Cinderella at 2AM). - ENA released new stills for Salon de Holmes, this time showcasing the second half of our sleuthing quartet: Dasom (Serendipity’s Embrace) and Nam Ki-ae (Blood Free). Along with Lee Shi-young (Sweet Home 3) and Jung Young-joo (When the Stars Gossip), our four lady leads will be setting out to expel the baddies from their neighborhood streets when the mystery-comedy unfolds on June 16 next month.
