SBS has dropped a new teaser for melo-romance Our Movie starring Namgoong Min (My Dearest) as a struggling filmmaker alongside his muse and terminally-ill patient Jeon Yeo-bin (A Time Called You). In this tragic tale of finding love, our heroes attempt to immortalize their fleeting moments before time slips away since their story cannot be postponed.

The teaser opens with the clack of a keyboard as Lee Da-eum (Jeon Yeo-bin) asks how long she has to live. She smiles up at Lee Je-ha (Namgoong Min), and it’s left unclear whether she is reciting his lines or if he is writing out her words. That is the crux of their relationship: a promising director so afraid of a “sophomore jinx” that he stopped creating for five years and an aspiring actor suffering from an incurable disease that stops her from ever achieving her dreams.

From the outside, their relationship is inexplicable, and producer Seo Hyun-woo (The Fiery Priest 2) does not understand why Je-ha is so fixated on a no-name actor. Je-ha explains to him that Da-eum has something they do not, and as if looking at her from his perspective, she fills the screen with her presence.

As the two get closer, Je-ha’s previous leading lady Lee Seol (Between Him and Her) takes note of their relationship and comments on how much he cares for her. Our director, though, denies it, simply stating that he needs Da-eum no more, no less. However, while filming their movie, his understanding of love and the filmmaking process shifts, and the fear that once crippled him morphs into something more hopeful because of her.

Rather than quit because of her illness, Da-eum wishes to leave behind herself for her loved ones to watch and remember her by. Her outlook colors the set, influencing not only her own work but those of the crew as well, including her director. Thus, as Je-ha watches her from his lens, he learns that the time on set — that one scene — could actually be someone’s most precious moment, giving a new weight to his words as he calls action.

Directed by PD Lee Jung-heum (Inspector Koo) with scripts penned by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, Our Movie is slated for twelve episodes and premieres June 13 in the Friday-Saturday slot.

So excited, yes excited for this! Namgoong Min is one actor I'll follow anywhere. Seems he's into these type of dramas and he will deliver. Just have your tissues at the ready.
