Premiere Watch: Weak Hero Class 2
by missvictrix
Time slot: Friday
Broadcaster: Wavve
Genre: Youth, action, drama, revenge, thriller
Episode count: 8
Global streamer: Netflix
Reasons to watch: After the sleeper hit that was Weak Hero Class 1, our eponymous hero Park Ji-hoon returns to the screen. New school, new problems… and a new gang of bullies that operate like their own crime syndicate. The project attracted the likes of Ryeoun, Lee Min-jae, Yoo Soo-bin, Bae Nara, Lee Jun-young, and more, adding to the cast, and our PD and screenwriter return for the continuation of this webtoon adaptation. The only question is, how dare they fool us with such a cute-yet-suave press photo?
TL;DR: Brace yourselves and your hearts!

Just finished rewatching Season 1, and I'm with Beom-seok that Yeong-i was the cause of their problems -- and by "their," I mean Su-ho and Si-eun -- but Beom-seok's inferiority complex was so severe that even if it weren't Yeong-i, he would've snapped eventually over someone else.
P.S. I'm still bitter about Park Ji-hoon not being nominated for Best New Actor by the Baeksangs. Hong Kyung's performance was brilliant, but Park Ji-hoon was a revelation.
P.P.S. Su-ho is my favorite character ever. He truly is a guardian angel.

Lee Jun-young is everywhere these days: Melo Movie, Tangerines, this, and soon pump up your love. I’m sure a lot of it was shot last year, but he must have a crazy schedule.

He's called the "new son of Netflix" due to his seven projects with Netflix (D.P., Love and Leashes, Mask Girl, Badland Hunters, Melo Movie, Tangerines, Weak Hero Class 2).
