tvN’s Our Unwritten Seoul (previously Unknown Seoul) has entered into the promo stage with the first batch of character stills, showcasing the ~~two~~ four faces of Park Bo-young (Melo Movie) – playing two twin sisters who end up switching lives. The romance also stars Got7’s Jinyoung (The Witch) and will be airing on weekends following Resident Playbook, premiering on May 24. [Sports Donga (1), (2)]

Heo Jun-ho (Buried Hearts) is in talks for the drama remake of The Boy in the Last Row, potentially joining Choi Min-shik (Big Bet, Exhuma), Choi Hyun-wook (My Dearest Nemesis), and Moon Sori (When Life Gives You Tangerines), among other talents. Adapted from the Spanish play El chico de la última fila by Juan Mayorga, the series has PD Kim Gyu-tae (The Trunk, Our Blues) and screenwriter Jang Myung-woo (My Mother the Mermaid) leading production. Seohyun (Song of the Bandits) finds herself in the unexpected arms of Taecyeon (Heartbeat) in the first poster for KBS’s fantasy sageuk The First Night With the Duke. Given Lee Je-Hoon's success with grey hair in the Art of Negotiation, I'm surprised Park Bo Young didn't give that a try for one of the twin characters. I wouldn't mind seeing that becoming a trend!

I agree. The only 2025 Kdrama i finished is Buried Hearts, and even that annoying by the end. The first third of this year has been very underwhelming.

Indeed. Gong Myung is currently giving us a beautiful performance in TVING’s WAY BACK LOVE (Viki US) but there is no way I will sit through episodes of our FL in tvN’s SECOND SHOT AT LOVE getting bombed. My quotient for those type scenes has been exceeded already. On the other hand I wish the cast luck.

It would be interesting if a rom-com about beer (Brewing Love) ended up having fewer drunk scenes than a rom-com about sobriety!

I made it through ENA’s BREWING LOVE (Viki US) okay but I thought perhaps the soju chasers were a bit much. I will look for your SECOND SHOT reviews.

1) Park Bo-young is very busy with Light Shop then Melo Movie and this one...

3) Not fan of any these actors and I don't trust adaptation of this kind of webtoon.

4) The idea of Monthly Magazine Home was pretty good but the writing wasn't up to the task. So I have doubts about the one. After Way Back Love, it will be weird to see Gong Myung in a new story and I don't think Sooyoung has the talent of Kim Min-Ha.

5) It's the drama I'm the most interesed in!

I have 4 out of 5 on the potential watchlist. I don't think any will be standout dramas but hopefully they will be entertaining solid watches.

Kind of random comment but: I really love these script-reading pictures (both in k-drama world and in Hollywood.) The intensity, focus and acumen that is displayed in them always reminds me that behind the pretty exterior and (sometimes) non-sensical dialogue, these actors are working professionals, just like the rest of us.
