I am barely getting time to read the recaps of the dramas I am watching but I am jumping into the comments in the small pockets of time I do have just so I keep up with the beanies. It’s so much harder now that there is no easy way to see the most recent comments😬

This is such a great idea to try to head things off by front loading the watch list for a smooth transition. It is hard to match the tone of some dramas that bring joy because they really do have that extra something that makes them stand out in the current crop. I hope you find what you need.

I'm just saying Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is on v i k i now-for me a rewatch and I am loving it. On ep 8, one a night, so it's a slow binge. IU in 2 dramas at the same time is a treat, she is very talented as an actress, songwriter, and singer.

You've probably seen it, but Healer is a perfect follow up to UCHS. Man on a mission distracted by strong quirky woman.

If you’re into C-dramas— and don’t mind the fantasy ones with all the dieties, demons, and supernatural cultivation elements— I HIGHLY recommend Love of the Divine Tree. I just finished it 2-ish weeks ago and realized that my heart is still with the drama as I’m finding myself not pressing play very much on my current watch (Cdrama, Rise of Ning)

What episode was this? I do remember him saying something along the lines of “I am yours” or “I am your person”— the latter sounding more period appropriate, so it may actually be that one, but can’t remember exactly.

I’m here if and whenever you wanna squee about this! I don’t remember much of the finer details in how the Korean adapted the plot from the original Chinese, but I remember the characters well, and loved (most) of them very much 🥰

This is my 2nd watch and I am noting SO many new things. Firts of all, keeping track of the princes (and the princess) is way easier this round and tbeir complicated relationships make sense. I am so happy to hear that you added Moon Lovers and are loving it. I won't give any spoilers (although I am dying to). If you have questions ask and perhaps i can help sort things out. What a cast, though, right?

Scarlet Ryeo was my first kdrama trauma. My friend and I live watched it. Nothing else has come close, it inured me to all other tragic endings. Do with this what you will, until the last second I had hope. I still get upset thinking about it.
