Drama viewership ratings for the week of March 17-23, 2025

Villains Everywhere took an okay first step, doing better than its predecessor, while My Dearest Nemesis and The Potato Lab have inched back up after previously dipping down. The weekend crown, though, remains with the still rising Buried Hearts, next to the still struggling Undercover High School, which has now been edged out by a soaring The Art of Negotiation.

Finally, we have our weekender crossing the 20.00% mark.

The Art of Negotiation and Buried Hearts are owning their spots.

I might give this weekender a try - viewers seem pretty happy with the characters and writing. However, lesson learned from prior fiascos - wait until the mid-point to see if viewers are still happy.

I know Undercover High School is highly regarded (and rated 😂) in Beaniedom which rarely, if ever corresponds to SK ratings but half 😱 of Buried Hearts and even lesser than The Art of Negotiation!? Sigh, ottoke. Well it is as it is. 🤔

FOR EAGLE BROTHERS continues to inch Northward. This is good as we are at a pivotal point in the stories- The initial misunderstandings have been cleared up and our main love stories can go forward, even as a potential new birth secret became a possibility. I think that part of the reason may be that we have seen moments of genuine comedy in this show- including physical comedy- that seem to have need missing from many recent Weekenders.

I haven't actually dropped Undercover High School, but I'm still back on Ep. 8 and I can understand the rating drop because neither the story nor the romance is moving forward - just circling around and around. But I'll try to invest the time this week before the last two episodes.

Meanwhile, The Art of Negotiation is the first drama in months to capture my whole-hearted attention (including re-watch for previously random statements that became large problems). Now that the drama is at the mid-point, I think the REAL drama is about to unfold.

The Art of Negotiation has been a pleasant surprise. I look forward to the weekend because I really enjoy watching it.
I hope the second half of the show keeps this quality.

Yey to ‘Buried Hearts’ doing better and better each week. Excited for the second half. Oh the pain of watching live.
