i liked it, Jinyoung is so cute/sweet. strange concept, being so old it took me a while to figure out all the flashbacks and all.
the ending shots looked like the opening scenes from Crash Landing on You, or was that just my imagination? such a pretty locale...

Very romantic. Moved kind of slow, too many flashbacks. could’ve been less episodes. Great concept.. definite rip off of crash landing on you at the end.

What a great surprise! I was enthralled and the episodes flew by. My only complaint is that it's too short! The vibe is like reading the Brontes or Wilkie Collins... Others are quick to blame the FL for the misfortune that follows her like a shadow, and she believes it too. But is it truly supernatural, or is it just coincidence? Jinyoung was the right choice for the ML. He conveys a clear-eyed innocence that makes his observation of the FL feel motivated by compassion and selfless love, rather than coming off as creepy. The FL is ethereal; she wears her sadness and loneliness like a cloak, burdened by her curse. As an adult, the FL has become both the Witch and Rapunzel, in self-imposed seclusion in her high tower to protect others from herself. The story uses this seemingly simple setup (a dark curse, and a quest to save her), to give us a gothic, deeply nerdy fairy tale. Hypothesis testing has rarely been so tense (two words: tape measure. iykyk!). To rescue Mi-jeong from her dark tower of isolation, the ML commences with rational data analysis. But is data enough in the face of the unexplainable? As I write this, the plot sounds so simple. But the way the story unfolds slowly and cyclically, it gives us time to feel deeply with the characters. I found the ending beautiful, and I loved the oft magical instrumental OST. Highly recommend to give it a try - you'll know within the first 1-2 eps if it will work for you. I loved it!
