Premiere Watch: The Scandal of Chunhwa
by missvictrix
Time slot: Thursdays (2 episodes per week)
Broadcaster: TVING
Genre: Sageuk, romance
Episode count: 10
Global streamer: TBA
Reasons to watch: If you like your sageuk with a side of spice, you’re in luck with TVING’s latest. Go Ara plays our eponymous princess who has quite the reputation, thanks to her likeness being used in a popular erotic novel of the time. Whether this is accurate or not remains to be seen, but the drama follows her head-strong hunt for a husband that she truly wants to marry for love. She’ll have to choose between Chani and Jang Ryul, so good luck with that.
TL;DR: TVING comes in with another 19-rated sageuk

Go Ara and Chang Ryul's Cosmopolitan Korea shoot was gorgeous. Choosing between Chani and Chang Ryul is an easy choice.

If I adapt my expectations since the first news about this drama, it could be fun.

I haven't been watching any kdramas lately (having dropped both The Tale of Lady Ok and When the Stars Gossip), but I have been looking forward to this one. Hopefully, I'll be able to watch it somewhere.

So far, I have checked Netflix, Viki, Kocowa, Plex, Pluto and Prime and come up with nothing.
I found Episode 1, with English subtitles, on the French video sharing website DailyMotion (which is owned by CANAL+) but it is not clear to me that this is a 'legal' sharing of the video even if the site is a legitimate one.
