Ma Dong-seok, Seo In-gook, Ji Chang-wook, Lee Joo-bin

Casting continues for the superhero series Twelve with offers now out to Seo In-gook (Death’s Game) and Lee Joo-bin (Queen of Tears) to join the fight against the story’s big bad, potentially teaming up with Ma Dong-seok (Police Unit 38, The Roundup: Punishment) and Ji Chang-wook (Queen Woo). Aiming to broadcast sometime next year, the platform and/or channel has not yet been confirmed. [Ilgan Sports, Xports News]

Lee Min-jung (Once Again) is considering a return to dramaland after five years away and is reviewing the role of a wedding dress company CEO in Okay Let’s Divorce (roughly translated). As can be guessed by the title, the character wants to end her 7-year marriage to her husband who also happens to be a wedding dress designer. Production is still in the early stages. [Star News]
Speaking of ex-couples, new posters have dropped for ENA’s upcoming Dear Hyeri (previously To My Hae-ri), wishing happiness for our broken-up leads Shin Hye-sun (Welcome to Samdal-ri) and Lee Jin-wook (Sweet Home 3). Premiering this month on September 23 in the Monday-Tuesday slot, the romance also stars Kang Hoon (A Time Called You) and Jo Hye-joo (My Demon). [Xports News (1), (2)]

The stage is set and ready for Kim Tae-ri (Revenant) in the newest teaser for tvN’s Jeongnyeon – The Star Is Born, emulating the films of yore to capture the period drama’s 1950s spirit. Come October 12, the historical will be airing on weekends, with the spotlight also shining on co-stars, Shin Ye-eun (The Secret Romantic Guesthouse), Ra Mi-ran (Cold Blooded Intern), Jung Eun-chae (Your Honor), and Kim Yoon-hye (Goodbye Earth). The promos continue on SBS as well, introducing our deviled heroine Park Shin-hye (Doctor Slump) as the titular The Judge from Hell. Giving us a little backstory with a mini character exposé as well as the fantasy’s third teaser, the ~~shopping~~ justice spree on her naughty list begins on September 21 next week. [SBS (1), (2)]
JTBC came out with new stills for Family by Choice, where our young leads reveal their self-introduction school reports. With Hwang In-yub (Why Her) identifying himself as the big brother and protector of Jung Chae-yeon (The Golden Spoon) and Bae Hyun-sung (Miraculous Brothers), our story’s found family of five will be cozying on our screens on Wednesdays starting October 9. 1. I've been keeping tabs on Lee Joo-bin's pieces after my first intro in Love in Contract. I was so miffed when I realized she had only a cameo appearance in Find Me In Your Memory.
I do hope this material gives her enough screen appearance as Love In Contract did, that is if she is not the lead female here or a part of the lead ensemble.

Ooooh, I’m already looking forward to Twelve with that cast!

I first saw Lee Jin-wook in Bulgasal, and now whenever I see him in anything else he looks too… clean to me 😂

Still looking forward to Jeongnyeon, still looking forward to Judge from Hell, but now also starting to eagerly await Family by Choice - it looks so cute! And my soft spot for Hwang In-yeob continues.
