Am I the only one watching? I decided to give this a try. I found the first two episodes kinda sweet and enjoyable. You have to be OK with old-person humor (jokes about cataracts and dementia). I don't do too many live watches since I find it frustrating to wait for episodes. I'm having fun with these older actors.

Given the premise, I thought this would simply be a crime mystery sitcom with unusual leads. And while it did give me that, what stood out about this little drama was the way the technological advance of modern day life viewed from the pov of our senior citizens. The portrayal was quite lighthearted, but it was still tinged with bittersweetness. How sometimes our 5 leads felt like they were being left behind by the modern world even for the most basic things like buying food (I love the contrast between their clumsiness and the way young kids viewed this technological wonder as simply the way of life). But there would be other moments where they realized that their wisdom and long experience are still needed, and that it's not such a bad thing to learn new things in life even at their age.

There was something lovely and unromanticized in the way our senior citizens see the world and their roles in it. How they would revealed the troubles in their lives in a matter-of-fact way that touched my heart even more. Also, the way they interacted and formed relationships with many unexpected people in their life is such a delight to watch (their starkly different personalities made for an interesting watch). I can't wait to uncover the many more criss-crossing histories between them all, and how they would help solve other crime mysteries in the future.

Completely agree. I really like how they're showing us the perspective of seniors in a day-in-the-life way and it's just so unfortunately rare to have shows focus on this age group as the main leads in a show.

I was predisposed to like this being a fan of the old sitcoms and most of the cast, and I was still really happy to be charmed by the opening 2 episodes.

The five leads, Lee Soon-Jae, Kim Yong-Geon, Ye Soo-Jung, Lim Chae-Mu and Song Ok-Suk, are basically playing themselves in this fantasy drama that put ageism in its place. The youngest of the five is 64 years old and Lee is 89. Actor Lee is a grumpy old man who gets into a social media scandal with an idol-actor fan base which leads him to fleeing to small Geoje Island. He co-owns a house with another actor, Kim, but their long friendship was cracked when Lee’s son skipped out of the wedding to Kim’s daughter.

The story premise was set up in a simple way. He is starting to have mental/hallucinations because of the scandal stress. His mind shifts so he can communicate with a former police dog. From that point, the elderly crew helps solve a murder case with local police officer Yeonwoo. It is basic drama script but it has a new feel because of the casting. I enjoyed the first two episodes.
