You might think this is a romcom. It is not. It is a melodrama about relationships. If you came expecting a romcom, you will be disappointed. But, it is a short drama with occasionally good moments, but very inconsistent. Some parts will have you in tears. Others will have you bored to tears. Worth a watch. Not a rewatch.

Give it a go if you'd like to experience a compelling narrative focused on a strong FL trying to figure out what she wants her family and her future to feel like. The drama has one of the best soundtracks of late, too.
But, be prepared to FF through some really tedious scenes and/or characters unrelated to the above story.

Even though it had interesting idea but execution fell short. The journey of leads breaking up was exhausting and it is not helped by limited acting capability of leads.
They do not have gravitas to pull of swoon-worthy love story that honor goes to second leads. How I wish they were the main course.

This was so sweet! Sweet and comforting, like chocolate! The ML is sweet and nice, and the FL is nice and kind. I loved them as individuals, loved them as a couple, and loved the FL's relationship with her brother (they had a tough childhood that adds some deeper moments to the plot). I wanted to see a couple who still loved each other find their way back to each other again, and that's what I got. There's nothing groundbreaking here, but the OTP is super sweet, the second couple is fun, the soundtrack punches way above its weight (Vincent Blue! Sam Kim! Etc!), and the ending is lovely, as befits a Cinderella story. I'm glad I waited to binge this - it was comforting and sweet, like eating your favorite chocolate when you're feeling down. As others have noted, it's less a traditional rom-com and more an exploration of relationships and a FL who gets to better understand her own feelings and what she wants. If you're looking for something that I would personally categorize as a comfort watch, I'd recommend this one! I really enjoyed it.
