Mea culpa! I am still annoyed about MBC making it difficult for us in the US to legally watch BLACK OUT and I am a bit paternal about Jang Ki-yong.

Meeting Joo Ji-hoon on a bridge or anywhere would get my heart pumping and my cheeks a blushing! And I love Jung Yumi so its a must try drama. Can't wait for The Judge From Hell and to My Hae-ri sounds good so I hope it IS good cause I love the cast!

“Bickering, fate-bound”? Yes, please, Log Bridge Love. I’ll be there!

Judge from Hell is looking just the right amount over-the-top, so I hope that’s the tone it sets for itself. I could use a fun, campy, slightly sinister drama.

I’ll almost definitely watch To My Hae-ri, but almost certainly not as a live-watch. I’ve sworn off all straight romances/rom-melos until I can watch them at my own pace (because, stress).

I always look forward to ENA shows. So ‘To My Hae Ari’ makes me excited. Plus it’s a weekday show. This pairing is interesting.

And Joppa couldn’t come soon enough!! A end of year holiday gift may be?? 💙🥰

1. The rest of the cast is real promising, but Jang Ki-yong… is not it. His post-My Ajusshi and Come and Hug Me career has been disappointing to say the least.

2. Joo Ji-hoon and Jung Yumi as bickering second-chance lovers is everything to me. Give me this drama NOW.

3. Park Shin-hye looks absolutely gorgeous in the poster. I’m still not sure her and Kim Jae-young are believable as lovers though. I sure hope I’m wrong.

4. Hopefully this isn’t the same old ‘corrupt rich kids and poor transfer student with a heart of gold’ plot high school dramas are infatuated with.

5. *Deep sigh* Kang Hoon as a leading man when?? How long will I have to wait for that?? I love Shin Hye-sun, but not Lee Jin-wook so I’m undecided on this.

agree about Kang Hoon and I wasn't planning to watch this drama (Shin Hye-sun I just can't), until they announced that Jo Hye Joo was also in the cast and suddenly memories of Secret Romantic Guesthouse scene stealing couple returned and I will give it a try for those two. 😊

Jo Hye-joo’s in it?!? It’s like they’re forcing me to watch it. I really hope they at least have a couple of scenes together because wasting that natural chemistry is a crime.

I’ll probably end up taking my chances with a good samaritan who edits a supercut of their scenes on YouTube.

I only like Lee Jin Wook/Uk in fast-paced thrillers with minimal lines such as Voice and Bulgasal. He's not very good at emoting and speaking in general in romances, imho.

Truthfully, I don’t care for Lee Jin-wook’s acting style irrespective of genre. And Jang Hyuk cast too wide a shadow for anybody to succeed him in the Voice sequels.

That’s without getting into the dicier controversies of his personal life, but I suppose it was just speculation? I’m not honestly very uninformed about it.

yes I held off on falling too deeply for Lee Jin Uk after reading about his "scandal"

This is driving me crazy. I love Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jin-wook but only in thrillers (Stranger, Voice) not crazy about them in the romantic genre. Shin Hye-sun is too intense for me as a romantic FL and Lee Jin-wook lacks depth and personality as romantic ML. I don't think this genre plays to their strengths at all. So we'll see how this goes!

"Too intense😂😂😂...lacks depth"
The former got me laughing, both had me chuckling at how they're both on the other ends of the romantic emoting spectrum.

I have a Shin Hye-sun bias though, so I'm pretty much blind to "too intense."

2 - totally missed that it's from TALE OF NOKDU writer, but now I'm more confident in bickering romance aspect, that was the best part there! Also, pls air until the year ends indeed, my bean count can't remain zero!

3 - this looks like amateurish fanart, honestly. I do have hope that playing antiheroine (?) will be good for PSH's career, but would she be able to pull off the vibe convincingly?

I'm actually rather excited for PSH and her Judge. I have been waiting for such a role since Red Lady in Alhambra.

I actually saw a really beautiful judge with flowing curly hair and in this amazing artsy long dress. So I can believe that judges can be beauties too.

1. I'm tuning in to this majorly for Kim Dae-myung.

5. Picture no 7 is more Kang Hoon than picture number 5. 5 didn't look like him to me.

As a mental health professional, I just don't think I can do To My Hae-ri. Even if it has an accurate portrayal of DID (which is a controversial diagnosis to begin with), I just struggle with dramas that prominently feature mental health stuff.
