Reasons to watch: The reasons to watch this drama need not be ennumerated, as they are so obvious, if they were each snakes… well, we’d be in a snake pit! To get that terrible image out of your head, here’s what we can expect: the wonderful and adorable Kim So-hyun returns in a short-form drama where she’s reunited with her first love Chae Jong-hyeop (aka, King Puppy — my nickname, not the show’s) and the hijinks hit.
The drama also features second leads Dasom and Yoon Ji-on, the latter of whom I have been cheering for since forever. For another random tidbit, this drama also reunites Kim So-hyun and Yoon Ji-on after last year’s My Lovely Liar.
TL;DR: The cuteness is so cute that it hurts, and the drama hasn’t even premiered yet

I’m all in favor of men being allowed to wear crazy fashions, and it’s better than the unflattering too-big suits with the loose shirt collars he had to wear in Lovely Liar. He’s got a bit of a pencil neck and those emphasized it.

First episode was blah... Everyone's acting was so wooden in a way, esp CJH. It all came off very teenybopper too- definitely not aimed at my demographic!
Also, I've come to detest drunk scenes.

That’s not exactly true. Radio Romance, Tale of Nokdu, River Where the Moon Rises and My Lovely Liar. None of these dramas are high school or student roles. Her hair in Tale of Nokdu and River Where The Moon Rises are also very different. Also she is just 25 and this drama was filmed 2 years ago.

I've decided to think of this as a 2022 drama, as it was filmed before the shows in which we've recently seen the leads (Castaway Diva, My Lovely Liar, Kokdu, My Perfect Stranger, and it shows in the acting, hairstyles, etc. It doesn't really even 'reunite' KSH and YJO - it's the first time they've worked together.

They don’t. They only get a small amount but it’s even worse for the crew who don’t get anything until after the production house recoups their costs.

what??? So the crew are just volunteers until the Production house makes a profit? Are there laws against Unions in Korea?? ( I can sort of understand the artists being held for ransom, even though it sucks, but not paying the technical staff doesn't even sound feasible)

Even the PD and writer don't get paid. To be honest nobody makes any money unless the drama is sold. The production house makes a risky investment without knowing if it can recoup the money. This drama is especially from a very small production house and I think it was their first drama. They went on to co-produce My Sweet Mobster and Mr Plankton so they are getting bigger slowly. Everyone in a way is doing it for free which is why dramas need to air on time so that people can get paid on time. There are still many unreleased dramas without any hopes of releasing which is sad.

I was disappointed with the first 2 episodes. A clingy ex and clueless bff who is obsessed with the ML. I suspect the ex will probably have excuse like he was sick so had to go away plot. Acting was a bit wooden and forced.

The Ex has no excuse. He really is just a narcissist as described by Hyeji. There’s no twist for his character other than being a self absorbed ass. Hyeji will fall in love with Sangte (the blind date guy).

Yeah, its only 8 episodes, there will not be a lot of twists. ML says he will stay another week- its possible that they will just play it out over that fictional week.

Yeah the pacing is very fast and most of the plot points will be resolved by next week then we will have some conflict from the ML mother but I assume even that will be resolved by episode 6. They don't have much time to drag things out.
