It has a very interesting premise and the director’s 2004 movie Flying Boy (with Yoon Kye-sang, Kim Min-jung and Lee Jun-ki) is one of my favorite teen movies.

I'm looking forward to it.😀 "Flying Boy" is still a favorite. I wish Lee Jun-ki would do more movies.

People like Yoon Shi Yoon should not stay away for so long. It's a disservice to the audience.

I heard that Dear X has more than one male lead because she dated more than one man in the webtoon.

Article said it'll only be a partial adaptation and it'll change from thriller to melo-romance so things might go very differently than the original webtoon.

Pachinko will have to do a significant recap to get people back up to speed it’s been too long between series one and two.
Auditors and Day and night will keep me busy.

Agree about the need for a good recap of Pachinko 😂 So many plot lines… But I am so looking forward to part 2, since the original series was top notch. I’ll have to wait until it’s all on Apple TV+ again to get away watching it all within a trial month… 👀

I think binge watching will be the best way to follow the multiple timelines anyway and to get it free what a bonus! Have you read the book? I think the book was very good.

Yes, I didn’t binge it last time (still had a subscription then) and it was a little bit hard to follow! 😬 Binge it is.

Oh, I didn’t read the book yet! Good point, I’ll directly put it on my list. Always looking for a good read, and this family saga is really fascinating. Thank you!

Do let us know how you get on with the book. It follows a chronological time line so much easier to follow I was so glad I had read it before watching the drama.

a MUST READ!
the series is making me insane, but i will watch regardless... it's like shuffling cards, that's what happened. the producer shuffled the chapters to pique interest -- i hope she didn't introduce more new material and characters that were not in the original book...

I don't know if I will watch the second season. The first one was disapointing. I didn't like the way they chose to tell this story.

If I could, I would trade Lee Min-Ho for Noh Sang-hyun. He was so good as Isak.

He switches between Joseon and modern films. His hairstyle and stache are from the movie "On The Line" (2021).

Black Out has a good cast. I checked the synopsis of the source novel and it looks intriguing. If done right, it can be a really good mystery drama.

I am not thrilled with the potential Kim Young Dae and Kim Yoo Jung pairing. I didnt like KYD's two previous dramas. He needs to step it up.

I am still here for The Auditors.

Black Out sounds good as long as its not too visually gory or scary (killers on the loose) and has a good story with smart detectives who actually solve mysteries as a side job----

Excited for Miss Night and Day and The Auditors also. Good actors can do wonders. Cannot imagine Kim Yoo-jung working with Kim Dae-young especially in that type of story or any drama for that matter. I like Ji Jin-hee a lot so will wait for more info on Kick X 4 (and to see if that title lasts til showtime). Not seen Pachinko so a Pachinko 2 is not on my radar yet.

Great to hear Ji Jin-Hee’s new project.

I read lately a fair number of established actors / actresses didn’t get project offers, including DB favorite, Kim Ji-suk who openly admitted that at a variety show.
