A modern retelling of Cinderella, romance and comedy. An easy watch with no unnecessary padding as only 10 episodes. An ideal binge watch.

The show is a breezy little ride with heart. Think of it like a good children’s picture book that is clever enough to reach adults—it’s told mostly through pictures, quick sketches and a narrator and good actors who convey a lot. It’s not a novel with lots of time for character and plot development, richly developed side stories and brooding—and that’s a good thing for this little gem. Like a good summer pop song, it’s fun, bright and a bop.

I have no clue why this rates at 4.8 on Dramabeans because that's not what the response suggested. This is a breezy summer cooler - refreshing, a little heady, with a zing that's over the next day, with enough kick in it that you might want to have another rewatch glass some day when you are bored and nothing else to watch do. The two main actors ingredients are a delight with a lot of potential for more such cocktails in the near future hopefully.

its quite brainless, there is no strong motivation behind the characters. so its like a cloudy sky, you get glimpses of clarity and then its a blur.. Rushed, the secondary characters stay shallow, superficial. but it was a light accompaniment to working on a felt, a heavier drama would have reminded me that my back hurts. this is one drama that would have benefitted from a few more episodes to gives a little more layers to the leads. 5/10
