The first script reading stills have dropped for KBS’s upcoming weekender Hyo-shim’s Independent Life, showcasing our headstrong heroine UEE (Ghost Doctor) along with the story’s feuding cousins Ha Joon (Missing: The Other Side 2) and Go Joo-won (Haechi). Premiering next week on September 16, the family drama follows The Real Has Come in the weekend slot. [Newsen]

Pyo Ye-jin (Taxi Driver 2) is on the casting table for a new classic rom-com called I Openly Dream of Cinderella (working title). If she accepts, Pyo will be playing the Cinderella-wannabe heroine who struggles to unchain herself from life’s difficult realities. Enter not-quite-prince-charming who doesn’t believe in love. Delivering a new bundle of moody stills, Disney+’s The Worst of Evil has me staring once again into the souls of Ji Chang-wook (If You Wish Upon Me) and Wie Ha-joon (Little Women) as my rational side wonders how many episodes my faint heart will withstand. In a similar vein, I’m both enthralled and utterly unsettled by Shin Ha-kyun (Yonder) and Kim Young-kwang (Call It Love) in ENA’s short first teaser for Evilive. While I agree that My Lovely Cinderella is the front-runner, it's still possible for it to join the Perfect series, which so far includes My Perfect Stranger, A Perfect Marriage, and Perfect Family. What's next - My Perfect Divorce, followed by A Perfect Death?

😅. Is there any other series we haven't been aware of? Now we know they have My Lovely and the Perfect series..

OR there might pop up a show titled something like "My Perfect Lovely Husband" (instead of My Perfectly Lovely Husband or My Perfect and Lovely Husband). You know, sometimes show titles make you scratch your head.

Sparkling watermelon and Cinderella are the only two calling my name out of this batch. Whatever name they give I openly dream of Cinderella it will always be My Lovely Cinderella to the rest of us😊 thanks @unit

Same here! Although I want to look forward to sparkling Watermelon more than I actually do. It's one of the main actors, I just didn't take to him in his last drama at all. But then, there's that title, they got to me with that one! I don't think I can resist checking out a drama called sparkling Watermelon!

+1 beautifully expressed. I am still traumatized by Somebody (couldn't finish it) don't know if I can handle a villainous turn by Kim Young-kwang. Will tune in for sure but the may just take a sharp U-turn towards The Secret Life of My Secretary to calm (soothe, enchant) myself.

I don't like "Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon" poster. Will the main character's family be rich in this drama? If so, I don't like it. The poster has soap opera vibes.

Yep, I remember reading that FL was adopted overseas as a kid and went to search for her bio-family when she grew up. Seems like girl hit the jackpot as her long-lost relatives ended up both rich AND superpowered. Looks less and less like an original show. Wonder if all those changes will work in sequel's favor...
