It was intriguing. That has a lot to do with the actors. It was also kind of confusing to me but it sure held my attention til the end. Lots of questions at the end and wondering how the second season will answer them (if there is one in the works).

Upon bingeing the show in two days, I can tell that LSY truly loves to write about things which are in grey area and throws philosophical questions to her viewers. She did so in FoS, Life, and in this show. From the get go, I had a feeling that she was going to take this route; focusing on corporate stuff and personal struggle of BF workers rather than the initial issue which is the synthetic meat and organs, and I was happy for that.
Despite the show could do so much better with more background story for the FL so she won't be seen as two dimensional character, and better execution of the ending (ep 9-10). I still rate this a solid nine for the story and the acting. Will eagerly wait for another work of LSY.

Blood Free, os great, but what a cliff hanger twe were left on. So many twists, and so many answers to be revealed. Love it. I think what sets this apart from a lot of kdramas is the seriousness and controlled acting from the two leads. Han Hyo-joo and Ju Ji-hoon. Han actually really feels like a CEO should be and her slightly subdued but iron grit personality is always present. And Ju is a solid, honest and caring bodyguard. The acting of both makes this less theatrical than many kdramas and I for one cant wait for S2.
