He refuses to learn to play an instrument for reasons unknown, which causes the huge fight between him and the lead guitarist FL (let's call it artistic differences!). What she doesn't know is that he originally was supposed to sing AND play the lead guitar, but he pretended not to know how so the band would recruit her!

The rock band: Hyun Bin, Gong Hyo Jin, Kang Ki Young, Yo Ji Tae, and Cha Tae Hyun. The OTP is Hyun Bin and Gong Hyo Jin.

Fanclub president: Woo Hee Jin.

Ending: Woo Hee Jin and Yo Ji Tae end up together (yes I want to see them as a couple again after Healer)

I care about literally nothing else if Lee Min-ki is not in this band.

Here some ideas about your new pitch:
(I can't write it this time, it takes too much time)
- I imagine a very silly apparent reason for the break up. For example, they disagree about a song. But it just hide something else.
- Could be a love affair. But we don't know it first, it's a plot-twist. And something a bit scandalous.
- There is no way they want to reunite. So it needs huge problems in their life for forcing them to accept that.
- FL and ML were the pillar of the band. As I saw it in real bands. There is the front lead (singer) and back lead (composer). Without them, the band can't survive.

Sung Joon because I want him back in eyeliner and also back in a rock band.
Jo Boa because I want that pairing reunion but the show is not a SUFBB spinoff it's just a whole other show with them and rock bands. Lmao.

Now I understand that they're supposed to be a rock band like No Doubt, but on first read, I thought that this was a BL, and I've never seen a middle-aged BL. Unless this is a gender-bender band like You're Beautiful.

A group of friends in their 20's form a band. They become successful and have a good ride for a couple years.

During that time the bassist and the lead guitarist have a romance. The fame, the inexperience, the emotions, everything mixes and they don't know how to handle it.

Their relationship ends and so does the band. The other bandmates try to make things work without them, but it's not the same, disagreements and stress start growing between them. So they decide to end the band completely.

There's resentment, sadness and anger in the air. The five friends decide to go their separate ways.

*20 years later*

We see that Chae Jung Ah is still in the industry, but making music for tv shows. She gets an offer to make the OST of a new drama. Someone from the station mentions how her former band would be perfect for this project. That makes her think of her friends, and decides to give them a call.

They all have kept contact in the last few years, but no one has perform or record a song since they disbanded.

They decide to do it "for the good old times" and the few fans that haven't left them behind. As a reunion but also a proper goodbye.

After the OST is released it becomes a big hit. And then, they get another call. The call of a fan... [To be continued]

I think there is to be some realism in the show's reality by casting real musicians.

YOON, KIM, HAN and PARK began as a pioneering rock group, 주의 깊은 (Careful). HAN and PARK were friends to secret lovers but when that became public it tore the band a part because KIM and YOON were also crushing on her. YOON becomes a successful singer, songwriter and producer that leads him to create his own music agency and studio. His hottest current rock group 무모한 (Reckless) consists of:

Kang Min-hyuk, 32, is a South Korean musician, singer-songwriter, and actor. He is the drummer of South Korean rock band CNBLUE.

Amy Lee, 34, known professionally as Ailee, is an American singer and songwriter based in South Korea.

Ji Hyun-woo, 39, is a South Korean actor and musician. He was formerly the lead guitarist for Korean indie rock band The Nuts.

A-Yeon, 33, is a drummer for former all-female k-pop band Bebop; also plays piano and sings.

However, Reckless is in tabloid social-media ruins. KANG and LEE have a boisterous and bitter public on-off dating relationship. Meanwhile, JI is labeled a “playboy” by anti-fans for dating and summarily dropping new starlets instead of dating musicians like A-YEON (the “J-A shippers”). A-YEON is caught up on "pretty privilege" trolling and negative stories about her alleged attitude. YOON, desperate to keep Reckless relevant (and profitable), asks his old band members to “join” Reckless for a “reunion” tour in an illogical money-grab collaboration but also as a social “ruse” to have PARK and HAN show KANG and LEE how to professionally balance work and their private lives. It does not go well. When Lee Hae-ri, 38, and Kang Min-kyung, 33, are signed as back-up singers for the tour, things go haywire as KIM, HAN, KANG and JI each try to flirt, woe and court the back-up singers causing strife for all the female band members.

Whoever we are casting, let's make sure one of them is tone-deaf.

As I read again your pitch, I've difficulty to find reasons why this reunion could happen. So, for that, I set parameters:

- Motivation of members: they'll do that for money, so they should lack money above everything. A situation of misery making they have no choice but accept. We can still keep one seeing that as a funny thing to do. Or some other hidden motivations.

- Motivation of Fan-club president. Here too, it's difficult to believe, at a time when he know the member are nothing anymore. (and if they are not nothing, why they would accept?). So unless there is another motivation... could be a cruel revenge for any hidden reason?

As long as I don't find a strong concept behind that, I couldn't find a story. Now, there is of course the surface level thing: because they have to pretend to be a couple again, it will lead to a lot of arguments. But it could also destroy their private life (let's imagine now they are married with someone else?).

I would make Kim Hee Sun a bit perverted and exhibitionist, and LDW smashed GY guitar, on his fathers piano, in the past and they cannot book any hotels because of these two guys fighting habits so they literally camp under a tree. Lee Min Ho deliberately writes very bad songs for the group.

Now I desperately need someone to make a smash hit drama based on this. Universe plsss
