I wonder if this show could have benefitted from having more episodes. The reason the lead character chose to be a vigilante is obvious and I personally don't think we need to see how his trauma has affected his day to day life to lead him to this point but maybe showing more of how he was balancing both sides of himself would've been nice. Maybe if there were more episodes, the other characters could be fleshed out more. As it is now, they're kinda just moving archetypes that move us along the plot.
This is a noir show so dark, sad, etc endings are to be expected. It's about vigilantism so violence is to be expected but it can be brutal. The things people do to each other... sigh. I think I've seen worse but still, expect violence. I think initially there might be a feeling of catharsis because the evil guy gets what he deserves but that doesn't last during the entire series.
I think the performances are good and everyone was a good pick for their roles. I like the style and look of the show.
I liked the action choreography. Kudos to that team that designed it.
For me, the ending is kinda hollow. It's like we just all this stuff happen and for what? It's not bad, it's not good, it's just basically the status quo. (I don't mean that about the drama itself but the world of the drama).

The great advantage of the script is the fact that the characters show no mercy towards the evil ones. Usually in dramas, the characters have at least some moral dilemmas, whether to cross certain moral boundaries, they have remorse, which sometimes stops them from taking certain actions. This hesitation later turns against them. In this drama, characters on the side of the fight for justice for the victims do absolutely everything possible in given situations to catch up with the bad guys. They have no mercy for degenerates who had no mercy for their victims. The law can be too weak, too lenient, too humane for criminals, and therefore fails victims. Vigilante fills this gap, which he announces to his targets at the very beginning.

Everyone in this drama is deeply unhinged in their own special way, including (and especially) Nam Joo-hyuk's titular vigilante, a man in an utterly corrupt world who is trying to find his small but certain happiness by punching the living daylights out of criminals.
What can I say? It plays exactly like a great webtoon -- stylish, actiony, punchy -- but if you're looking for a deep conflicted character study this is not the place to be. If on the other hand you wish to see Nam Joo-hyuk wear hoodies and take vengeance into his own fists, then look no further! As a fun bonus please also behold Yoo Ji-tae as a human boulder, whose punches were absolutely bass-boosted in post-production.
Great action scenes, a lot of manful yelling.
