Reasons to watch: SBS’s split-season drama The First Responders commences with its second part, taking over their ever-popular weekend slot. The first season was high-performing, so there’s no reason to expect Season 2 won’t do the same. The drama continues the story of hot-headed police officer Kim Rae-won, along with the other emergency responders he works with regularly, including EMT Gong Seung-yeon and fireman Sohn Ho-joon. The love triangle might have died in Season 1 (?), but I’m sure they’ll cook up enough criminal mayhem to fill 12 episodes.

TL;DR: Our trio of first responders is back for more

I am so amused by the fact that they added "and the National Forensic Service" to the name of the show (in Korean) that I have to watch the second season now.

I'm all for the hot headed police officer aka Kim Rae Won! Also looking forward to the other two to round out the action. Just suspend your belief a tiny bit and you'll love it! I do.

My question as well. So far it's not showing up on Hulu, which is where Season 1 streamed. But it seems that some series (Dr. Romantic 3) sometimes appear with a slight delay on that site. A mystery...
