What I liked about the series: The psychological thriller premise was done well by the writer who gave us many unexpected plot twists. LJY performance was excellent as an abused wife who hit rock bottom.

What I disliked about the series: there were too many slow spots of artsy direction and a long inconsequential epilogue. A very good and watchable show but could have been much better as a tight, action packed short drama series or movie.

I loved this series, which exemplifies what is great about Korean television. The acting and cinematography made the show seem like a film. Yet the story itself is an open critique of patriarchal social structures and Korean Confucianism. I didn't find the pace too slow, nor was I tempted to speed up to miss the violent bits. There were too many clues. I'm making this sound very cerebral, but I was engaged (and sometimes, enraged) enough to talk back to the screen repeatedly.
