I'll keep it short - don't. Not worth the time. Let's all pretend this show never happened.

I can't really say whether I liked the drama or not. I liked some aspects but the writing was flawed. Like the drama didn't know how to end this or if to give it a happy ending or not until the last episode. This drama had me hating on one of my fav actors. My suggestion to people who haven't watched this is don't start. Be oblivious.

1. There is a general melancholy hue throughout the series, even in the summer-courtship months. Depressing mood.
2. The character of FL is interpreted as a 傻白甜 = foolish, idiotic, sweet/childish. This is so out-dated and done to death in the last 20 years of Asian drama. If the FL of KSOD is modelled more like actress Kim Ah-joong's female doctor in Kdrama, Live Up to Your Name, the story telling could be more exuberant and up to date with the 2020s and the romance more believable and captivating. I often wonder if another actor would bring some fresh and spirited energy to the drama.
3. The script writing is incoherent, borrows extensively tropes from other kdramas, and assembled into a mishmass. But where is the train going? Where is the hope and joy? KSOD is the first original script written by Kang Yi Heon and Heo Jun Woo; their debut work, Less Than Evil, is a korean remake based closely on the British TV series Luther. So there you are, this script is really a 'scooter', not a Ferrari. And the viewership figures bear witness.
