New stills of Kwak Dong-yeon and Go Sung-hee in ENA’s Gaus Electronics

In case anyone is, you know, burned from Big Mouth, here are some Kwak Dong-yeon and Go Sung-hee (Wind and Cloud and Rain) stills from the upcoming ENA comedy Gaus Electronics.
The office drama features a cast of quirky coworker characters (see the character posters here), led by our hero Lee Sang-shik (Kwak Dong-yeon), the zealous and simple-hearted new hire who seems to attract trouble. I can already see this being a perfect role for Kwak Dong-yeon — but at this rate, any lead role is perfect, as long as he gets one.
Sang-shik’s office mentor is Cha Na-rae (Go Sung-hee), and she is more than exasperated by him, and the core of the drama will surely be in their comedic (and here’s hoping ~romantic~) interactions. If the latest stills drop has anything to say about it, I think we’ll get our share of cute, comedy, and romantic hijinks.
Gaus Electronics is directed by Park Jun-su (The God of Music), co-written by Seo Han-na and Kang Go-eun, and premieres on September 30 in ENA’s new Friday-Saturday slot.

😊 hoping this is light and fluffy. I keep getting fooled by these shows. I am loving how Unicorn blends the heavy with light and fluffy so the points get made without us losing the enjoyment I am hoping this show can do the same.

So I saw recent pics of Kwak, and uhm wow dude is very muscular!! He’s always looked older than his age like late 20’s. But he was charming in Never Twice, and finally a lead role in prime time show. As for the FL, she’s older than him in rl by 7 yrs, but they don’t look out of place together. I remember he said that in rl, he’s more comfortable with older people than folks his age. She was cute in My Holo Love, and I loved her chemistry with Yoon Hyun Min too.

I haven't been that intrigued by this one up until now--there's something about these stills that's grabbing me. I couldn't get into either "Unicorn" or "Today's Webtoon," so I'm hoping this is the workplace comedy that grabs me. I've also loved most everything KDY has done so I have to trust his first lead role will be in a solid project at the very least.

I am really excited for this drama as well. i loved Kwak Dong-yeon's acting in Big Mouse and hope to see him a lot more. Also hoping this is light and fluffy cause we all need sunshine everyday don't we? The leads look quite nice together so here's to a wonderful show for all!
