Guess I am in the minority of those who liked this drama. It was an easy watch with predictable outcomes to the conflicts. What I liked about it most was the relationships of the characters. They grew along with the conflicts and showed various sides of how one creates and resolves conflicts. The other thing I loved was the actors themselves. I have not seen Daniel Choi for a long time and have a soft spot for Park Ho-san and Kim Gap-soo. I also loved the dynamics between the 2 leads. Not your typical don't get along to oh I love you progression. Lastly I loved the actor Kim Do-Hoon who is new to me. I feel with the time allowed, he portrayed his character with believability and growth. The scenes with his mother were also done well and not the typical I am a bad mother here to wreck your life mentality. It was a nice, not intense but good ride for me.

You can't be too far in the minority considering it has 20 ratings so far and a 8.9 :) I for one also enjoyed the drama--I think that there may just be more vocal people on DB for dramas they dislike than dramas they like at the moment :)

I didn't watch this one or even read the recaps so I'm totally neutral on it, but I have the impression that people who like and complete a drama are more likely to give it a rating, so the ratings skew really high, while people who don't like it (or aspects of it) are more likely to analyze what they don't like in comments and/or drop without rating it. That's spurred me to go back to shows I watched or dropped a while back and give them ratings. I'd love to see ratings be more numerous and useful - most shows here fall between high 8s and low 9s, and that compressed range doesn't allow for a lot of nuance. Having a rating below 8.0, for example, should not necessarily mean 'don't bother;' it could also convey 'lots of beanies disliked this but there may be elements that make it worthwhile for you.'

I couldn't pass 2nd ep because Kim Se-jung's character. Grr.... So much suffocating cheerfulness and positivity. I can't stand them in RL, can't stand them in dramas. Ugh. LOL Candy type of FL is not my thing, less of them better for me. Hah.

What a fun drama! Sejong never disappoints. She just has a way of bringing you into the character--and she's not afraid to just actually be weird. Lots of growth among all the various characters, and I loved the look into webtoons as an industry.
I was especially a fan of the various artists we got to see, especially the author of Peeve Weapon. I wish I'd seen a bit more resolution for Pomme, but all is well. I loved that they didn't lean tooo hard into the romance. It was meant to be a healing, slice of life drama... and it was. Would recommend to a friend!

If Business Proposal's Kim Se-jong brought you here, just reduce your expectations a little bit cause it's a slightly different ride.
I wondered what the show wanted to do with Kim Gapsoo especially after ep 2, and the character Dong-hee after ep 10 so I must admit that one thing this show does well is that it never forgets it's characters or side plots, even though they ain't offering anything necessarily to the main plot that week. They all came full focus be it together or as standalones without feeling like a disjointed puzzle piece.
It's been a while I saw Daniel Choi and he was cool as Deputy Editor Seok(those thin-framed round glasses really fit his face🤭), and Kim Do-hoon is getting on my radar gradually. Daeryuk's metamorphosis was done with this cool feeling as we journeyed with him and he did a good job guiding us through.
Is this a classic case where the finale dulls my angst to a good degree? Yes. Today's Webtoon does a good job in accomplishing that. There are so many parts where this character grated my nerves, and it was the excessive sugar checkmating that kept me going and as it progressed, reluctantly.
This was supposed to be an exciting journey as it had a lot of actor ingredients I liked (Se-jong, Park Ho-san, Kim Gap-soo, Daniel Choi, Ha Do-kwon). However, I got this close to earning a reluctant bean but they all saved the day at the end.

I went into this show expecting it to be a 9/10 light hearted humorous slice of life office drama with a potential romance. It was all of these things but at a 6-7 level because unnecessary padding reduced the time available for the things the drama did well. The female lead’s family is one of the highlights of the show.
The areas that let the drama down were the bluntly inserted PPL scenes that literally paused the drama to introduce the product. Some of the artists had underdeveloped story lines and others were too drawn out. The office scenes had the only other female team member literally as part of the scenery, the PPL advert breaks got more screen time than she did. The level of onscreen mentoring/coaching of the rookies was inadequate for the significant tasks they were assigned.
I would also give a trigger warning for trauma storyline as the healing process is poorly managed in the story which could be distressing for some viewers. The general approach adopted by the show is fairly standard in K drama land but it stands out here, due to the general light nature of the show.
I enjoyed the show initially and I think others will probably maintain this enjoyment throughout and will like the conclusive ending for the main themes.

I was drawn to this show because of Kim Se-Jeong and the premise of showing webtoon creation and office life. I expected a nice, funny slice-of-office life drama. I think the early episodes represented light comedy aspects and family interaction which were good but like many shows it veered off course in the second half with unnecessary “drama” arcs and unrealistic work place representations. Overall, it was an average show with some flaws but if you like Kim Se-Jeong’s energy and personality, like in Business Proposal, you may want to try it out.

I actually want to piggy-back on what you said about the family interactions. They were all so cute!

I enjoyed a lot of this drama but there were bits that were jarring and the tone felt inconsistent. I felt dissatisfied with the story line relating to childhood trauma. I'd say the strength of the drama was the chemistry between the cast. Some really lovely scenes at had me swooning.

It started strong and ended weak. When the writers first started stacking on the subplots, I thought, "this is either going to be completely awesome, or it's going to kill the drama." At first, it was awesome to have so many delightful backstories. Then it was too much! By the end, the tying of loose plot ends just completely sapped the nice energy that characterized the earlier episodes. Oh well, it was a risk we could see the writers and director taking, and then backing away from. I would still want to see anyone from this cast in their next drama, but especially Kim Se Jong. She is delightful.

The drama started as mildly interesting due to main cast but soon I lost interest and ended up forwarding a lot. I might have missed highlights in drama but nothing convinced me to go back and give it thorough consideration.
It starts good but story does not hold your interest, it is slow paced and without events that grab your attention.
