It was a cute, breezy drama with little to no conflict. The acting was fine, Joy was cute. I didn't feel the leads' chemistry. Overall, it's a cute drama to watch in the background and pass the time.

It's a solid, if unremarkable, small-town romance with a simple, direct plot, gorgeous cinematography, and cute, if somewhat green, actors.
Who Will Like It: Fans of small town, fish-out-of-water romance with younger leads and no surprises; fans of Joy; and those looking for a background or shorter-length drama to watch while folding laundry or unwinding at the end of the day. This one also might be a winner for moms or grandmas who tell you there's too much sex and violence on TV or who are new to kdramas but love Hallmark movies.
Who Won't Like It: Anyone looking for a rich, unpredictable, and layered romance should probably look elsewhere. Also, if you've decided that Joy doesn't do it for you, this show probably won't change your mind.
If This Show Was a Vegetable: Parsnip. Mild, a bit bland, but unlikely to elicit passionate howls of disgust.
What if I'm Sick of Lawyers: There isn't one in this drama!!!!
What if I'm Sick of Cops: Well, the FL is a cop, but don't let the uniform fool you. She's more of a rural Ms. Fixit than law enforcement officer.
Any Good Kisses?: Yes. Chaste, but not entirely close-mouthed. Again, Hallmark mom/grandma will probably be ok with everything.

This is a drama with modest ambitions. It's not trying to surprise you with plot twists or hidden character flaws or wow you with great acting. There are no serial killers or ToDs. Half the scenes involve kids or animals or the local ahjumma squad. But this drama knows what it wants to do, sticks to it, and carries it out well. And that is to leave you with a warm feeling about Ja-young, Ji-yul, the people around them, and the place where they live. There are no real bad guys, just second leads who get in the way a bit, and everything wraps up the way you might expect from ep. 1. It's cute and enjoyable. It has "nice" written all over it.

It was an ok drama for me, a drama we watch over dinner. The characters were cute, hardly any conflict, no angst. I just want to point out that my husband and I didn’t realize that we watched the final episode until I read dramabeans!

It was my happy pill during 3 weeks 🥰
Some points that make me like this drama :
- The drama has a little "Pride and Prejudice" side.
- The ML is not a jerk and doesn't use the usual tricks to make suffer the FL.
- The scenery is beautiful, the PD used a lot of panoramic shoots. Countrysite is so relaxing.
- It's more the journey than the destination kind of drama because the story is very simple but at least there is no deception.

I really loved this little drama. It’s a simple story, and one you may very well have seen before (two people meet as kids during a significant turning point in their lives, then they meet again 15 years later under different circumstances and slowly fall in love) so it’s the little things that set this drama apart.
If you’ve ever been watching a drama and found yourself saying, “Ugh, why can’t they just talk to one another?!” this is the drama for you. The setting is beautiful, the leads are adorable, the animals are fun, and some of the side characters are incredibly endearing, but the things that stood out to me about this drama were the conversations. The conversations are more open, more respectful, and honestly more swoony than in lots of other dramas I’ve watched. I know that doesn’t sound super exciting, but I was never bored, and since there are just 12 short episodes, they really keep things moving along. From the initial fish-out-of-water hijinks of a city boy coming to a small town to the eventual love story between the leads, this drama is full of so much cute (and puppies!). If that’s something you’re interested in, you will not be disappointed.
