The Witch is Alive: Episode 9 (Drama Hangout)
by DB Staff
Behold, your weekly Drama Hangout! We might not be covering this drama, but that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a place to talk about it, whether that’s squealing with excitement or piling on the analysis.
This thread is exclusively for this week’s episodes and anything prior, so let’s try to keep it as a place to chat about what’s aired — not spoil future plot points for unsuspecting eyes.

Our three ladies have a hard time killing the men they hate. It was getting near “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World” vibe racing around with shovels. At least the three FLs had a “caper” together.
The Oracle is a darker person than we thought. She went to prison for murder. She freely admits she runs the Death Note website to give people an outlet for their relationship pain. I think she has another connection to pull a twist in this series.
The sudden disappearance of Go-Eun is troublesome. Was she that scared of Ma-Ri’s threat? She seemed stronger and more ambitious to let that get her to vanish in thin air. It is troublesome because Nak-su is more focused on destroying Ma-Ri than finding Go-Eun. Even the local police are writing off their domestic disputes as “mutual combat” which should not lead to a divorce.
Woo-Bin must have concrete for a brain because he seems like an immortal stone. The gangsters are more investigation worthy that the police and our main characters.
Hee Soo's tragic life continues to spiral. The jerk husband got off his plane to find her --- no not her, but his camera. Why she is keeping her illness from her friends has a tinge of noble idiocy; but covering it up with talk of being pregnant is sad.
This is still an over-the-top dark comedy that is still working out well.

It’s good that you have stayed consistent with the show and the comments it’s just a shame there are not many people watching who want to engage in the comments with you. Hope you have people in real life who are watching that you can chat to.

If nothing else, for a historical record since many Beanies look to show comments to decide whether start or to pick up shows after their run.

I'm watching this quite well till I got extremely busy by the episode with the preview of Nakgu and Go-eun's wedding. But with what I was watching then I don't even know what to say. Everything's messy. Thanks to your updates I use it to decide if I'm to pick it up again or just wait for a binge when all the crazy chaos is over. So far it's been to wait for a binge😁.
