1. I’m sorry, but the poses made me burst out laughing. Why are they posing as if this is a magazine cover instead of a crime thriller?

2. Why have I never heard of this until now? ISTG there are too many platforms nowadays.

3. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD let the “international online platform” be Netflix. Anything is better than the slow, agonizing torture of Grid on Disney+. Also, incredible casting.

4. It’s a kdrama, it’d be more shocking if our whale couple didn’t end up together. As for Kim Joo-hun, I mostly remember him from It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and I do remember liking him alright.

5. Excited! Both Shin Ha-kyun and Won Jin-ah are faves of mine.

6. Nothing project I had no idea was a thing. However, after Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I will watch Joo Hyun-young in anything and everything. That woman is a true talent and star in the making.

7. Im Joo-hwan finally as the male lead, LETS GOOOOOOO.

@ladynightshade: I’ve become a bit obsessed with these first script reading stills! We are mostly back to mask-wearing but I wonder what’s the deal with the three outliers? If I were in that room, I would be pissed off if any of these 3 had haddodgy neg test results and ended up infecting a whole bunch of others.

Also, I’m with you on Joo Hyunyoung even if in ep 14, they should have toned down some of her character’s zaniness as it became a caricature.

They are masked in thd group photo. Maybe they took them off when it was their turn to read their lines?

@midnight: Huh! You’re right. I didn’t bother with the team photo. I wonder why they chose the unmasked pics to include though?

It might’ve just been a matter of bad timing and only capturing them during their line readings. Or maybe I’m just giving them too much credit. I still think taking off their masks in such a crowded environment is risky. I know speaking with a mask on can distort your voice, especially in such a large room with so many people, but still.

Excuse me, are you laughing at my Taec’s photo? Everyone knows that the teaser to actual drama relativity is 50% accurate at best. Sometimes not even..hehe..show what sells!

Hey, I only said I laughed, not that it didn’t sell the show 😂. Although I’m of the opinion that they should’ve given him a better haircut to sell the show even more. I know he’s handsome enough to rock anything, but that doesn’t mean he should be stuck with that.

That is my eternal woe with Taec’s hair in dramas! I don’t know how, but they manage to give him bad hair in Every.Single.Drama of his 😩

I still haven’t forgotten or forgiven how they did him dirty in Vincenzo. His hair there was just tragic.

I am wary of watching Dominant Species because the writer's first foray into sci-fi was not good, however I will watch because Forest of Secrets is the Platinum VVVVVIP standard for kdramas, lol.

Petition to get Lee Soo-yeon to stop writing scifi and get back to writing Forest of Secrets 3. And I say that as a scifi fan who's generally Team Korean Scifi.

What do we want?
Forest of Secrets 3!
When do we want it?
...Mid 2023 probably

Please don't encourage multi-season kdramas... Also season 2 wasn't as good as season one, so it is possibly downhill from here?

I agree in general (multi-season not what I signed up for) but not in specifics.
I loved season 2 even more than season 1 - but as an extension and culmination of it. If there is going to be any season 3 of a kdrama I want it to be this one.

I prefered the second season too. It was more realistic. The story was very simple but the investigation was really interesting.

I really enjoyed FOS 2 also especially the Lee Joon-hyuk (1984) arc.

Joining you on the petition. If there was a drama that deserved to have multiple seasons, it would be FoS.

Though I'm going to be the odd person out when it comes to Lee Soo-yeon's experimentation on the sci-fi genre. Apparently my nerdy brain has decided to love Grid because of all its unusual narrative style.

Oh I have no problem with her writing scifi, it's just interfering with her FoS writing.
I'll be writing a whole thing on Grid... at some point... getting around to it any minute now...

I’m with you here. If there should be any drama with three seasons, it has to be Forest of Secrets. Although I don’t want her to stop writing sci-fi because someone has to.

And maybe Kingdom but I’ve lost all faith we’re ever getting that.

Daily I check Viki US’s “Coming Soon” list to see if Taec’s BLIND from tvN has appeared. As of today, not yet. Viki carried his SRI&J (2021) from tvN so I am hoping BLIND will also be picked up by Viki.
