True Beauty it's definitely a must watch for MGY
Although it's typical full of cliches drama but was refreshing.
Find me in your memory is another one although the age difference between the leads didn't set well with many people.

Sorry for piggybacking on your comment, but the age difference wasn't even noticeable in "Find me in your memory" and I did not know people complaimed about it. In fact, Moon Ga Young's act was matured and matched exceptionally well with Kim Dong Wook. I still have this OTP as my homescreen wallpaper😍 and if anyone wants to have a glimpse of their chemistry watch their behind-the-scenes kissing scenes. Oh, I almost forgot she had a stalker problem in that drama as well.

No need to be sorry and I totally agree with what you said about the age difference and her acting.
By the way I didn't know about the age difference until I heard from other people.

If you don't mind large age gap in romantic pairing, Find Me in Your Memory is a good one. Solid on the romance front, and satisfying enough on the friendship story and workplace dynamic.

Try KBS drama special Waltzing Alone for a totally different character type than what Moon Ga-young usually played. A very unusual exploration about romantic love.

Seconding Waltzing the Waltz Alone! It's one of the most stunning specials, from the cinematography to the performances, and Moon Ga-young is electric.

Agreed on Waltzing Alone!
While not my favorite Kbs special, a few scenes with Moon Ga Young left such a strong impression I can still recall it...

I love Moon Ga-young so much. She is gorgeous, talented, and has such a winning personality.

Link: Eat, Love, Kill was in casting purgatory for a while, but I'm thrilled that they cast Yeo Jin-gu and Moon Ga-young whose chemisty is through the roof.

As for the question, old but https://www.dramabeans.com/2019/04/actor-spotlight-moon-ga-young/

Honestly, very few of her dramas are actually good, but the one thing they all have in common is that Moon Ga-young absolutely steals the show. She’s phenomenal - no matter what role she’s playing or how bad the drama itself is. She’s a true star in-the-making.

So my recommendation is that if you’re watching a drama just for her performance, you’ll have a good time with anything. She’s really that good, IMO.

This accurately fits her performance in "Tempted" kdrama. She was such a show stealer

I’m really enjoying Moon Ga Young in Link as well! She’s able to show so much emotion and humor at the turn of a dime and I love seeing how she and Yeo Jin-gu seamlessly transfer their feelings via their emotional link. I think Link is her meatiest role to date, she really is able to convey the fear of a woman who has been stalked and assaulted while never losing the viewer’s sympathy because of her essentially bright and effervescent character.
Find Me In Your Memory is a cute rom com though it dragged for me in places. She had great chemistry with Kim Dong Wook, they made a cameo together as their characters in Shooting Stars. She also received an acting award for Tempted, which was based on Dangerous Liaisons (I have not watched Tempted myself).
I thought she was very funny in True Beauty but didn’t quite buy her as a high school student. My teenage daughter loved True Beauty though so perhaps it’s a age difference .

I guess Find Me In Your Memory would probably be considered more of a romance melo but I thought she was very funny in parts. At any rate she was great in it!

The first time I noticed Moon Ga Young in Tempted or Great seducer. She and Woo Do Hwan were electrifying together in first episode but I can not recommend that drama to anyone. I did not even last beyond two episodes. That drama was train-wreck and even presence of three talented actors could not save it.
The only other drama of hers I have watched is True beauty. That drama was your typical webtoonish trope fest and the role was piece of cake for her. If you want some fun time, Moon Ga Young and Hwang In Youp together, go for it.

Loveee Moon Ga Young!!

She was a side character in Live Up To Your Name, but this drama was awesome so I would recommend it for the overall story and seeing her act in an uncommon role.
