Kill Heel: Episodes 9-10 (Drama Hangout)

Behold, your weekly Drama Hangout! We might not be covering this drama, but that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a place to talk about it, whether that’s squealing with excitement or piling on the analysis.

This thread is exclusively for this week’s episodes and anything prior, so let’s try to keep it as a place to chat about what’s aired — not spoil future plot points for unsuspecting eyes.

How and when Moran found James and started communicating with him, or how Oksun put James in front of Moran for this set up? I suppose the DNA results were faked by Oksun, else we’d see some wavering from James. Briefly I thought the sons were switched and Oksun raised Moran’s son, but it would be logistically impossible, plus Oksun loves her son too much and hates her husband and Moran too much to be raising their child as her own. Argh I’m desperate to know this backstory about James and care nothing about the murder.

Nor do I care about how Hyun will get back on her feet. She’s so lifeless and uninteresting, both in the way she is written and the way she is being portrayed. Oh, we did have one second of a spark at end of ep 8, that smirk when she was kneeling. One second after 8 episodes.

Oh she is definitely raising their child! I’m positive of it after seeing Oksun’s reaction to learning of their shopping date & also when she learned that Morin has a chronic illness. She was really upset that she was looking for the son as a donor.

I am curious about who James' real parents are too. More importantly, will Ok-sun reveal to Mo-ran that James is not her real son? Ok-sun is really showing internalized rage quite well. I can't wait to see what Wu-Hyeon does with the CEO now that she's onto Moran's game. I do like the CEO and hope things work out well for him.

It'll be interesting to see what Ok-sun reveals about James to Mo-ran. It seems that Ok-sun suddenly changed her plans a bit (or at least the timing of things) because she found out about Mo-ran's medical report. Ok-sun does have some ties to that orphanage, so I suppose it's possible she picked up Mo-ran's son to raise and also James to support him from afar. But who knows.

As for the murder, I'm starting to think the chairman's wife is the one who actually did it years ago and she then called Mo-ran to help her, after the fact.

Oh that’s a good point about the Chairman’s wife! Yes that would make sense, especially after that comment she made to her husband about how she doesn’t give up what she wants & her willing to go to the extend she did to marry him was an example of it.

Yes, the wife's comment! That's what got me thinking that she could be the culprit. That, and the fact that she just comes across as having a bit of an unstable streak.

"An unstable streak" is an understatement, she's crazy as hell. I jumped when she snapped at that manicurist and tried to hit her. I took that scene as a little easter egg for what that woman is capable of.

@smn5009 You are right. The woman is crazy indeed.

The CEO is just a big teddy bear and that man can't get any peace. I'm really curious about the details of how he ended up marrying that psychotic wife of his.
