Crazy Love steps up its promo game with campy mock-horror wedding teaser

If there’s one sure way to my heart, it’s with excellently weird drama teasers. Crazy Love first wowed me with their character teaser, and now they’ve one-upped themselves.

First, the teaser poster with wedding cake and bride and groom figures has transformed into an eerily similar poster, but with Kim Jae-wook and Krystal standing in as the actual bridge and groom. Then, to make this even more awesome, the new teaser bring that poster to life.

 
In the new teaser, we see a mock wedding ceremony between Kim Jae-wook and Krystal with the same awesome-yet-seedy aesthetic we got in the first teaser. Then the wedding screeches to a halt and turns mock-horror as Krystal goes psycho and Kim Jae-wook looks in horror at his hand… because he’s turning into the wax candle on their wedding cake.

Dude, this is amazing. I know, I know, we’ve all been burned before by dramas with killer promo games and then actual shows that pale in comparison. But maybe this time will be different?

The script reading stills below are from awhile back, but give us eyes on the supporting cast which includes: Ha Joon (High Class), Yoo In-young (Good Casting), Im Won-hee (Moonshine), Lee Shi-un (Cheat on Me, If You Can) (omg yes!), and more.

KBS’s Crazy Love premieres on March 7 in the Monday-Tuesday slot.
