Is Forecasting Love and Weather saving JTBC, or do people have nothing to watch with the Olympics preempting everything?

Next Saturday is going to be a bloodbath between Tracer and Through the Darkness returning and Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3 premiering.

Oh yes, the horse killer drama, but Sponsor airs on Wednesday.

I certainly didn't expect Forecasting Love and Weather to be the drama to bring JTBC out of its yearlong slump. I'm glad the romance genre isn't dead though I don't really understand why this drama.

I adore Twenty Five Twenty One and hope it continues to rise but competition is going to be tough next week with so many dramas overlapping. Forecasting Love and Weather is actually in the best position.

It looks like Forecasting Love and Twenty Five Twenty one are legitimate hits.

Thirty nine is pulling in decent numbers too, despite the internet bashing it.

I haven't seen any of them but I'm rooting for everyone.

Nice trajectory for FL&W. Nationwide Nielsen ratings for the first four episodes (from DramaWiki): 4.514%, 5.455%, 6.787% and 7.849%.

Next Saturday will be very interesting. A lot of overlapping dramas.
I am live watching three: LEE BANG WON, THROUGH THE DARKNESS and FL&W. I would be watching TRACER if MBC had done the right thing and released it through Kocowa but oh, well.

After the stupid incident on set LEE BANG WON will probably see a ratings drop. My wife still wants to watch and so we will, together, but only because it has been an otherwise outstanding show. But for me some of the magic is gone now. I hope that the writing continues to be outstanding- this has not been your typical Sageuk.

As if to prove that the drama really is all about rejecting the idea that fate rules events and that instead, as in a Shakespearean play, all tragic results stem from character flaws and stupid decisions this show has provided a real-life example: A horse had its legs tied so it would fall spectacularly. The result was a horse with shattered legs which had to be put down. This particular stunt was already known to be seriously dangerous, but they tried it anyway, thereby proving that unthinking idiots can be found anywhere.

YOUNG LADY AND GENTLEMAN was still affected by the Olympics on Saturday but hit a new high on Sunday.

I just watched FLAW ep2 and thought it was indeed a fun show. I have good feelings about this one, so I’ll probably stick with it.
