Cool, I didn't realize The Last Empress is by the same writer. Now that you mentioned it, I could see similarities, unpredictable plot and all. Also kudos to the directing/editing that kept up with all the twist and turns.

Acting wise I guess I liked the scenes between CSJ and EB and also the bar scene between CSJ and YC. Those scenes were so intense.

The utterly ridiculous scene was CSJ chunking down the sim card and the extra crunching sound. Why did she even eat sim card instead of SD card

Well, she certainly has a different attitude and demeanor, that's for sure. However, something tells me it's going to end up being Shim Soo-ryeon pretending to be this new character.

With this show, we have to be ready for anything!

The drama does seem to imply that she is SSR pretending to be Na Gyeo On, so that we *squee* still can have more intense scenes of SSR and Logan.
But how can that happen ? I don't want another resurrection. So could it be that the dead one is Na ? Maybe a switcheroo happened somewhere along the way in S1 and Na is the one got killed by JDT.

Logan's intense, longing "I want to love and protect you, but I can't have you" looks that gets me every time. Can't help but feel for this puppy.
Actually SSR has not shown any romantic feelings for Logan but we are just rooting for her to get a happy ending.

Yes indeed it was very well done! Everyone is on board to catch Joo DanTae. Once again CSJ remains my fave actor on this show, she's always outdoing herself with expressions. I just hope JDT stays in jail this time and doesn't weasel his way out. But we're only ep 11 and not sure if this season is going until ep 20 so we still have a lot of ground to cover. Can't wait for tmrw ep12

I don’t buy it either. There are graves for people who are actually alive and well😅 so who am I to imagine such a thing happened because of a flying scarf 🧣
And can I rant about how much I hate where the show is going with Logan and SSR?

Nah ... I think the ending is brilliant. It had to be done, if everything ends nice and rosy, there would be no need for S3. Now I'm really hype up to see how Oh Joo Wan's character connects to the story.

Just my prediction for S3. I think Jenny's father will replace JDT as the big evil. I am looking forward to this actor can be both comical and evil. Oh Joo Wan's character will replace Logan as Sim Soo Ryeon's emotional link, although how exactly I cannot guess. I hope he doesn't turn out to be her first husband back from dead, he looks too young for that.

I actually need a breather from this, so it's perfect that S3 starts June!
