SJK reads like something he wrote himself with all the feeling this would emote. SHGs on the other hand looks like something her lawyer composed, something quite likely due to her longer experience in the business.

I don't think it's worth reading anything into the formulations of their statements. Love just hurts, no matter how famous you are.

But I was very surprised to hear of their marriage, they probably never had time to sink into the phase of daily life to begin with so on the whole I'm quite underwhelmed. Who hasn't had a stormy love who turned bleh when the honeymoon ended. I hope they heal well.

I'm starting as avid fan of his acting since The innocent Man days and admire him ever since SKKS. But even I admit, he sound bitter and hurt. He shouldn't do this and handling this out of hand. But WHo Am I? There must be something BIG in their relationship which has already broken and leaving a big scar that one of them no longer handling it rationally.

Um... So like would I be the only one out of the 140 comments here that is actually not that surprised? I honestly thought that their marriage came up way too quickly after their dating news and they haven't known each other that long when they married. So..... No hate here, but I'm honestly really not that surprised. Especially with their insanely busy schedules and also if you've noticed on Song Hyekyo's Insta, she's never so much posed one pic of Song Joongki after their two years of marriage. Maybe it's because of the media's and netizens' attention but still though, a lot of other celeb couples post each others' spouses on SNS. So yeah back to the point, I'm really not surprised.

Totally not a surprise. The Chinese media has been reporting on this for months (and it was months, not weeks, ago that they reported about them not wearing their wedding rings and SHG taking down couple photos on her Social media account). Reports now are saying they may not have ever even moved into the condo they purchased. Possible- hasn’t Song Joong-ki been filming Arthdal Chronicles since summer of 2018?).

I have zero interest in their personal lives, but their hasty marriage - after starring as a couple in a popular drama - always made me think of those Hollywood marriages back in the 50s and 60s, when actors seemed to be unable to separate their characters from reality, and frequently dated and/or married their latest co-star, only to divorce a few years later, when they fell for another romance drama co-star.

I’m more sad to hear that depression (and probably the stress of having to deal with the crap from the nasty, demanding, critical “Netizens”) has led to the suicide of yet another Korean actor/idol, Jeon Mi-sun.

These Netizens are so vile. They even started attacking Park Bo-gum for the Song marriage breakup. Ridiculous, especially considering the complete lack of ANY chemistry between him and SHG in the drama. I feel sorry for him, too.

I’m not a fan of either, but divorce sucks, even the amicable ones, so leave them alone.
