I understand that the Korean Entertainment industry is very competitive, all dramas/films have pressure to rate well in order to survive, all actors need to stay popular. What do you think is your edge in keeping relevant for all these years? Being hardworking is a given, but what else do you think helps your staying power?

Have you ever played a character you were initially uncertain about playing, but ending up really loving as you got into the acting? (does that even make sense)

I loved you so much in Fated to Love You. I must have watched it close to five times. You had so much chemistry with Jang Nara. You've acted three times with her. Would you consider acting with her again please? Could you do a rom com with her? Who is your favourite actor or actress? What is your favourite movie? Why do you always appear with weird hair in your dramas? Is it you or your hair stylist? Do you laugh that booming laugh in Fated in real life as well? Please act in a rom com soon, and please be the lead.

Do you have any interest in acting on stage? If so, is there a particular role or roles that you would like to play, and why? I would love to see your interpretation of King Lear, Hamlet, or archvillain Iago in "Othello."

You have a look and general air that lends itself very well to the gruff, strong types of characters, even though you have done very well in completely opposite characters too. Was there ever a time you felt stereotyped and, if yes, how did you break out of that stereotyping?

I think your greatest appeal is the contrasting charms you displayed when you need to portray different aspects of a character in a role, especially when paired with a good script and storywriter. Personally what do you think your greatest appeal is as an actor?

What is your criteria when choosing a role? Do you accept it because you are confident of pulling it off? Or you want to try something new?

I really love ‘Money Flower’ and PD Kim’s ability to showcase your best aspects in the drama. Will you be working with her again?
