Team Dramabeans: What we’re watching
by DB Staff
So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…
girlfriday
What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim: The brothers posturing in front of each other is getting old really fast; I could do without the whole childhood trauma storyline altogether, even though I know that would technically leave the drama without conflict. But honestly I just don’t care about anything other than Park Seo-joon’s hilariously failed attempts at confessing, and Park Min-young’s array of appalled expressions every time he says a new dumb thing. Thankfully for us, that happens often.

Currently recapping: Come Here and Hug Me
Life on Mars: I can’t pick what I like best about last week’s episodes. Is it Tae-joo taking care of a tiny Tae-joo? Tae-joo meeting his hapless dad and seeing what a great dad he was anyway? Kang Dong-cheol’s thick layer of grump starting to crack and show the marshmallow ajusshi underneath? Miss Yoon finally getting more recognition for her awesomeness? Can someone remind me why we even need to return to 2018?
What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim: I’m a bit behind on this one but still watching for Mi-so’s and Young-joon’s cute push-and-pull. I get so frustrated that he can’t just tell her he’s the real Oppa though. And when I get frustrated, I tend to nitpick at other things… like the fact that Lee Tae-hwan just isn’t doing great as the swoony older brother. Then I look at how awesome Kang Ki-young is and remember how he managed to shake my heart while going against Lee Jong-seok’s hottest role yet in W and I can’t help but wish for a casting switch.
Naked Fireman: Don’t let the weird name and melo-looking poster put you off. Yes, this four-episode show has fires and murders and mystery, but it also has Lee Jun-hyuk being a goofy fireman who loses his temper in funny ways when people get in the way of his saving lives. Oh, and there’s a decent plot too. Don’t take my word for it. Ask around. Google some spoiler-free reviews. Just remember to add the kdrama keyword when typing that title into the search bar. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
TeriYaki
Investigation Couple: I’m still with this one, but there hasn’t been much content of late. The truth of the romantic triangle between Baek-beom, his girlfriend, and best friend is what keeps me coming back; I want to know what really happened back then. Unfortunately, Investigation Couple is on the verge of derailing over the best friend’s revenge-driven brother, who is using his position as lead prosecutor to satisfy his vendetta against Baek-beom. He’s so emotional that it’s impossible to view him as an accomplished prosecutor and my disappointment in this character, and the direction of the story in general, has me hanging on by a thread.
Miss Hammurabi: I’ve been mostly disappointed by the romantic dramas that I’ve been watching so for now, they’re all on hold. In their place I decided to check out Miss Hammurabi, solely because of Sung Dong-il, who I expected would play a crusty, grumpy judge with a heart of gold, and I wasn’t wrong. I could watch him all day long and his presence got me through the first couple of episodes where I felt as if the emotional angle of the drama was overwhelming. I appreciate when dramas move me, but prefer when it feels more subtle, not as obvious as in Miss Hammurabi. I stuck with it and after five episodes, find that L, as Ba-reun, provides much needed balance for rookie judge O-reum, as she fights to have her voice heard. Their back and forth offers a robust discussion of their cases and gives Sung Dong-il the chance to do what he does best—offer paternal guidance, as he mentors his junior judges.

(Fan Wall Spazzing) Life on Mars (Episodes 5-6):
Despite some minor quibbles with the show, I remain impressed with a strong showing this week in the development of its plot, character, relationships and even the procedural cases. We open Pandora’s box with the last cliffhanger which reveals the first big clue to this entire time-twisty puzzle that the male lead has been desperately trying to solve since episode 1. Today’s preview teases us with THE manicure case, temporal collisions between THE two timelines and THE desperation as our male lead tries to prevent multiple deaths from occurring. Please do show me a juicy 2018 scene!
(Watching) What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (Episodes 7-8):
Outstanding trauma-removing kiss, but I was disappointed by the plot which didn’t give me proper reasons to squeal at the fluff. I really don’t like that the 2nd male lead was the impetus to make the main couple confess to each other when the relationship should have developed naturally. I am really annoyed that the Hyung appears to have one single motivation in one-upping his brother, because one-note characters are NOT interesting to watch. I don’t mind the over-the-top writing when it comes to the side characters because this is a rom-com, but the leads’ writing is NO.
(Watching) Are You Human Too? (Episodes 6 / 11-12):
I’m a little disappointed in secretary’s backstory because I was expecting to see more of human Nam Shin’s real personality but instead I got this flashback of how the secretary willingly sold off his loyalty for money. On the other hand, the conflict our secretary faces in the present is super juicy because he has developed genuine loyalty to both Nam Shins which fogs his deepest allegiances. The show should have focused more on moments like robot’s ‘who do I trust’ instead of the same-old romance / corporate / family drama, there’s so much juice to explore and develop there.

(Fast-Forwarded) Come Here and Hug Me (Episodes 19-20):
If you thought the evil reporter was killed at the cliffhanger, not to worry, there’s another one coming up! I had hoped that she turned a new leaf after the male lead chastised her previously at the police academy but it was not to be. I’ll really laugh if I can predict this correctly: the fanatic gets caught next week and placed behind bars, but the serial killer breaks out of prison. I don’t know how the show intends to end, but it only has 3 weeks left and there are way too many issues (Serial Killer / Male lead’s Hyung / Female lead’s Oppa / Reporters) to deal with on top of the romance.
(Fast-Forwarded) Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum (Episodes 19-20):
For a moment, I thought the female lead would accept the male lead’s apology at the cliffhanger and reconcile when the male lead hasn’t deserved it (that bet was SO stupid), so I was pleasantly surprised when she decided to cut the entire connection. It was nice to see that coach also realising that cousin was not that deeply invested in their relationship and deciding to cut it off. If only we get to see the males develop and sincerely pursue the females … oh wait … I forgot about family drama / childhood drama / obsessive surfer. Will the 2nd male lead become obsessive too?
(Fast-Forwarded) About Time (Episodes 11-12):
If she was willing to lie to save him from his ‘death’ by association with her, why would she come running to see him just because of a phone call saying he’s drunk? Why would she cry about the sudden death of the fellow time-seeing granny to him and not her friend? That death better be explained before ANOTHER upcoming death in her musical friend. No words for the musical / director / obsessive 2nd female lead / chaebol family drama / poor family drama / immature brother & friend couple. At least my fast-forward button wasn’t used during the doctor & secretary scene.

Are You Human Too?: Secretary is an interesting character because he's clearly conflicted. Yes, maybe he sold off his loyalty at first but he also came to genuinely like Shin (and maybe Robo Shin). He no longer wants to accept money from Chairman, but he can't stop because he likes money and the luxurious life. Chairman plays everyone like puppets.

That ultrasound machine that they brought for Nam Shin was not shown to us for nothing. Nam Shin is going to wake up soon, so I think AYHT is going to get more interesting in the coming weeks, and we will have the opportunity to see human and robot's different personalities together. I wonder if Nam Shin III will be cast away or he will keep impersonating Nam Shin...so many possibilities. I have no idea about what to expect.

Hello, everyone!
I thought I made myself a nice, reasonable drama-watching schedule after dropping Miss Hammurabi and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?, but with the news of Lee Min-ki and Jung So-min making a cameo appearance, I guess I can’t drop the latter. Sigh. I was so proud of myself, too... the things those two could make me do. I’ll be playing catch-up with that one this weekend and hoping I fall in love with it! I just have not been in a fluffy rom-com mood.
Life On Mars is by far the best show on right now, and I am so grateful to Beanies for making me watch it! I love how it has taken over the wall on the days that it airs. It’s gripping, hilarious, packed with emotional punches, and I love the characters and their interactions with each other. What more could a girl ask for?! I’m quickly becoming a Jung Kyung-ho fan and I adore Officer Yoon! I’m thinking I’ll check out the original series after this one ends. It will be so interesting to see how the Korean version made changes to the original story, beyond the mere setting.
I admit that I’m still mostly watching Are You Human, Too? for the Shinnamon Roll, but I also think that the show has a lot of potential, both concerning its character development (especially for So-bong) and on questions about what it means to be human. I really hope it can live up to its promise. If it doesn’t, I will feel very disappointed that I stuck to the show for so long. We’re at about the halfway point soon, so I’m hoping that the pace picks up a bit. Or maybe I just think it’s slow-going because of the preemptions... and oh my gosh, this show knows how to work its cliffhangers. Both this and LOM do, actually.
I finally found the time to watch more Lingerie Girls’ Generation and oh my goodness, I ADORE this! I liked it since the first episode, and each and every one after that has pulled me in further. It’s fascinating to get a look at what it was like to live in 1979 South Korea. What it was like to grow up as a girl in a grossly patriarchal household, what it was like to live during what was basically the Korean Red Scare. It’s fascinating, and I adore our realistically flawed yet lovable Jung-hee. The music is also awesome. It’s filled with great oldies, and they’re inserted into the scenes so well. Sometimes the English lyrics match what is happening on-screen so perfectly that it makes me laugh. This is my favorite type of “light” drama to watch—it makes me happy every hour while still having depth. I only have 1 episode left and I can’t bear to see it go! 💔
After LGG, I plan on watching Ho-gu’s Love! Here’s hoping it can help me get out of this rom-com slump I’ve been in post-INAR! 🤞

Lingerie Girls Generation was great ! I love how they described this period even if the political side was a little bit light. The characters were cute. The OST was the best part. I'm still listinning Dust in the Wind thinking to this drama.

Sorry, looks like I have been lately asking you all these questions at every drama you drop.
But I had put Miss Hammurabi on hold because you were gushing over it and so ..... (:) (now i need to find out how it is before I pick it from the deep down long list of things to watch or should I just leave it there forever).

I'm only watching Are You Human Too . I'd fallen behind with it, I'd low-level dropped it after 20 mins of Ep3 (using DB ep counts, not the Dramafever ones) but then I binge-watched all the rest in a couple of days and was gutted that I had to wait for the rest.
What's gripped me if of course the cuteness of Robo Shin (that lie-detector wink is killing me), but also all the questions that it raises. Not just about what it means to be human, but also where they're going to go next with this drama!
When is Coma Shin going to wake up? What's mum going to do? Kill-Switch? Why???? And yes, is Robo Shin capable of feelings (if he's not, I'm changing my ship). And why are Robo Shin and Cyborg Girl so cute together?
I'm trusting that it's going to stay interesting because the drama has been pre-produced. And with two-thirds of the drama left to go, I'm super-intrigued where they're going to take it...

Life has been crazy busy and as a result I've fallen behind on dramas. The only one I consciously made time for is Life on Mars, which goes to show how much I'm enjoying it.
I love me a good crime thriller and LOM is pinging all those buttons.
I'm loving the relationships Tae Joo is building and rediscovering. Modern day Tae Joo is a such a sober man. But his younger self shows is that up until a certain point of time, Tae Joo was such a well loved child.
The ending of ep6 shocked me but only cause I didn't think the story would actually go there. I had my suspicions at the start and it was kind of startling to have them be validated. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story progresses after this revelation.
Let me count the ways I love thee, Officer Yoon. It's a lot by the way. I love her getting to do real police work and I love her smacking down baddies even more. There's one person I really wish she would punch, and that is the curly haired fellow. I hope this wish of mine becomes reality cause god, his entire existence just grates on my nerves.
I'm so excited for this week's episodes!

Are You Human Too?: Really enjoying this. There was a nice twist in ep. 12 and I have no idea where this is going. I NEED MORE EPISODES PER WEEK UGH (First time I ever resent a World Cup).
Rich Man Poor Woman: Finished! The finale was ok. A good premise that suffered from messy story-telling and bad acting by the leads. I hope second lead actress Kim Ye Won (Min Tae Ra) gets a better project next time.
Life of Mars: I'm on ep. 4. A different watching experience than usual because I read recaps before watching episodes. Being a coward, this helps me know when gruesome stuff happens.
I'm also working my way through Studio Ghibli films:
1) The Tale of Princess Kaguya: my favourite so far. @palanapikake I recommend it if you are craving some history and folktales.
2) Castle in the Sky: fun.
3) Whisper of the Heart: subtle and warm.
4) Grave of The Fireflies: tragic. You did warn me @tsutsuloo and @kudoran.

Well... Finally Rich Man Poor Woman has ended. Thank God... The story obviously too predictable with so many cliches. The writer tried to cover so many arches/storyline and ended up losing focus. I heard the J-version is very popular because it tells a story about dreams and how to achieve them (less on romance). While the k-version tried to do dreams, business matters, love triangle or whatever, bromance, friendship, childhood trauma etc. First 2 eps were okay but then to story spent too much time with first male lead and second female lead romance and why they are not meant to be together. I mean what what drama have so many steamy and long kiss scenes between first male lead and second female lead, while the real otp has only long pecks? LOL
In the end, the story lost its momentum and I just couldn't care anymore about why Yoo-chan forgives Tae Joo so easily and how his character develops from genius jerk to this caring guy.
ANW... Now I am in drama slump, I also lost interest in Secretary Kim (I wonder why... 😰😰. I love PMY more than Suho obviously... But why???)
In the meantime, I just watch variety show Travel in EXO's ladder while thinking that Baekhyun is definitely that annoying cousin who you can't help wanting to slap during christmas day at grandma.. 😂😂 (he is too extra, I can't with this boy).

The Jdrama was way better, because they focused more on how trying to achieve your goals can actually set you back as a person and when you are at the bottom, how true friends and a support group can help you out of a bad place. The romance was always more of an undertone, though you could still see it blossoming. Give it a watch when you have free time! I love Suho and I was going to give the kdrama a try, but now I will just miss it. cheers!

Legend of Fuyao: Watching this mainly because it may have the potential to be the next Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. The first dozen episodes make me feel like all the right ingredients have been mixed in the bowl but it still needs a deft hand in execution to elevate it to crack status. Watching Life on Mars: (per beanie recommendation): almost up to date. This is fast packed with action and mystery and it is honestly rivetting. Probably the best of the current airing shows right now.
Come and hug me: predictable. But jky's stares melt me. FINALLY! Some happiness and cuteness this week. Is it bad i wish that the murderer father gets a hammer and kills that reporter? She has it coming for her... love the instrumental OSTs. So this show is ok but not brilliant.
WWWSK: starting to get boring or slow. The first two episodes were golden, and im seeing the real issue is the plot. But this show is funny and easy going. And i just love PSJ on screen. And PMY needs to be my best friend, like right now.
AYHT: protect nam shin robot at all costs. Hope to see him manifest feelings next week. Not an extraordinary show, but the plot twists keep me going. I admit if it werent for kang seo joons brilliant portrayal of a robot, i wouldnt be still watching this. (It also helps watching it with beanies on rabbit ❤️❤️)
The undateables: we are going through the obligatory breakup. Thats all i can say because this krom com is present but forgettable.

Live I had picked up this show thanks to beanies’ recommendations. It is probably the most realistic police drama that I’ve seen in years. I remember some beanie asking in OT recently how does the law system works in kdramas. Dramas has been the worst place to have any real idea of how the legal system or police force work. In real life, you’d more likely get slapped by a humongous legal bill than a lawyer fighting on a bar top. And are there just two types of police - inept or corrupt? We need more shows like this.
Come and HugI think I started losing interest weeks before but finally I couldn’t get down to the recent episodes. I love Jang Ki Yong and thank this show for showing what a brilliantly promising actor he is. I’ll be looking out for this guy’s works for sure.
Miss Hammurabi What happened to my favourite show? I agree with the messages sent in the latest episodes yet the show didn’t sit quite right with me. Should I just drown in L’s dimples?
Life On Mars FAVORITE! Miss Yoon is kickass! I like Tunnel but this even better.
What’s Wrong with Me Yup, I am not watching WWWSK

This week has been a "week of catching up korean dramas" for me, mostly because life caught up with my drama-watching priorities.
Life on Mars easily topped my list of worthy ongoing dramas. How can an OCN drama full of crimes be packed with great leads and side characters that are human, comedy, bromance, drama, mystery, suspense, thriller, and that tiny bit of romance. Plus a badass cinnamon roll of a female lead in Yoon Na-yeong. I honestly couldn't ask from more or at least, more episodes per week because waiting for another couple of episodes in a week is a pain.
What's Wrong With Secretary Kim is still crack-level funny and the leads have that over-the-charts chemistry but I guess something is pulling me farther from the show. Maybe it's the writing? The endless push and pulls? Or the turd oppa everybody hates? (I still love Lee Tae-hwan but the character just irks me out) Right now what's pulling me in is Bong Se-ra and Yang Cheol's romance
and that only suit that Gwi-nam has.Miss Hammurabi still pulls out the emotional strings in me however the story became so sloooooow I had to fast forward some parts. The leads are still pretty though.
Are You Human Too? is easily becoming a favorite of mine. Maybe it's the robot? Or mybe it's Young-hoon? It's probably the robot and it could also be Young-hoon. I just hope for the best for both of them.

I'm glad the other two potential couples are getting an increased amount of screen time, since I am starting to feel that they're running out of material for the main OTP. I agree, it is still crack-level funny! Yang Cheol's Superhero moment was hilarious and I played it several times.

Hello Beanies! Happy Weekend to all! My usual routine these days is watching a variety show while I eat (I don't like eating alone) and a drama episode (or two😄) at night. Dramawise, I'm watching About Time (noble idiots, sigh), Miss Hammurabi (4 eps behind), Come and Hug Me (that cliffhanger!), and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (yasss!). But let's talk variety. This is what I'm currently watching:
*Sundays are for Running Man: The luxury package group is in such a lovely place, but let's be honest the shuddering package group is where all the laughs are at! That 30 minutes of silence game is so hilarious!😂
*Mondays are for 1 Night, 2 Days: It's so amazing and awesome that we get to peek into places that have never been shown to some of the public before. I don't really understand much about the war that separated families and about places like the JSA, DMZ, and all the parallels, but I can tell that it's something so important for everyone to learn about. I'm glad they had the time to let us look around and learn and put the games to the side. But I'm also glad the next episode will show the guys participate with the villagers!
*Tuesdays are for Master in the House: I always have a good laugh in this show because the guys are hilarious. I thought that the field of flowers was so beautiful and it was fun to see a master that just goes with the wind. It's a total opposite to myself that plans everything.
*Wednesdays are for Knowing Brothers: This episode was hilarious! HaHa had scoop on everyone. especially Seo Jang-hoon, and he didn't hold back! I always get so surprised how everyone seems to know each other. Like, how do they have time to hang out?!
*Thursdays are for SuperTv: I like to laugh and these guys are well versed in variety that every episode is hilarious!
*Fridays are for 4 Wheeled Restaurant: I am on episode 2 and I am really liking it. It's hard work to run anything and especially so in a little truck. I would be so scared to drive in a different country on a different side of the road, but Jin-goo ia doing such a good job!
*Saturdays are for I Live Alone: I love when they hang out together so it was fun that they watched a soccer game together. It is always surprising to see famous people just lay around their house with nothing to do on their day off just like you. Except then they release albums and such and you're like, oh yeah I've done nothing.
I watch a lot huh?!😅 I like laughing what can I say!

The only variety I’ve picked up so far is Running Man and I don’t regret it. I started with the last Christmas ep and then jumped around randomly while reading the DB recaps that went with those old eps. It was a confusing way to do it, lol. But when I’m stressed and need to laugh and veg they are great.

Ooo, that's a hard question! RM is doing a project right now and it will probably be over this Sunday, but there are lots of episodes to choose from esp if you are looking for certain guests. MitH have guests for 1-2 episodes so you can also pick and choose. Also, KB has guests weekly so you can choose which ones you want to see. Right now I would recommend 1N2D because they are at the NK/SK border and these guys are sooo much fun and you get to learn something too! Hopefully that helps😊

What's wrong with Secretary Kim
This is the only show I am watching and I was about to quit this week before the end of episode 8 happened.
I hate the brother, sooo boring.
And I am also disappointed in the plot. This kidnapping thing is stupid. Mi so was 5 years old. Who remembers or would give importance to something that happened when he/she was 5 years old?????
I barely remember I knew my time when I was 5 years old!!! Ohhh and I remember I was shy. That is all.
Maybe the kidnapping would be important for Park Seo-joon’s character, because he got traumas from that experience, but hello, Mi so???? It is absurd. She remembers she was comforted.
Would you make me believe in the rest of her 29 years old she was never comforted by her parents, sisters or friends in school or college?? Do you really think that is believable???
This plot is lazy... I know they are flowering the webtoon, but they could have found a better way to make it more interesting... I don't know... 🙄

That is indeed a bit absurd. I remember being around that age having a friend, a boy, across the street. The only thing I remember of him, is that one day I went over and asked his mother if he would come out and play with me. She told me that he died. He was hit by a car and was killed. I don't remember his name, what he looked like, or the games we played. Only a distant memory of his mother telling me what happened.

Poor kid. But mostly: poor parents! One of the most horrible things to experience in life, the death of your child.
I am sorry for them really.
Now you as the simple neighbour, you naturally don't remember much. If you would have moved before that happened, and never got to know the little boy died, you most likely would have not remembered anything at all.

My thought as well... I mean who would remember about the time from 25 years ago?? I don't even remember what I did when I was 5 years old and whether I was close to opposite sex. Besides... Hello.. High school? Uni? I am sure Miso would meet another oppa during her teen days right?? Or had another crush especially with that hormones-driven age? No?

A 5 year old kid doesn't think of boyfriends, and if she ever does, because of the influence of an adult, unless this thought is nurtured, she will forget.
Mi so is supposed to have lived a normal life, except she didn't date (no problem with that. She was busy making money), and yet, she developed this fixation on a 3 to 5 days relationship with another child when they were kidnapped???
Supposed the whole episode was really really traumatic, so that she has reasons to remember, but she doesn't even remember!!!!
Again, it is absurd she would be so emotionally involved as an adult. It just doesn't make sense. 😒

I believe that happens mostly to children who were a lot loved and taken care when they were little. Like, you see a small child and ask him/her how old she/he is, and maybe let's play a game, and the game was cool... that child had lots of fun, it happened many times, the kid loves you enough... She/he will remember. Even remember that happened when he/she was 5 years old because you ask and took count of the time.
When I was little, it is not that I don't remember anything, but I was never asked how old I was or what I liked. We didn't have adults playing with us, not even our parents. 😐
This is actually sad because yes, we were basically abandoned children. And we had no one to nurture our curiosity or love or self acknowledgement.
I have practiced with 4 to 6 years old children whether they know their addresses, name and last, names, name of the parents and things like that, and I am sure that child may remember these conversations in the future. I am sure, when I was little, nobody asked me such things.
So I was not very aware, even of myself.
But anyways, children that are loved... they remember more. That may be the reason why you can remember so much. 😄

Yeah, you're right.
At any age, sadly, it seems we tend to remember more traumatic episodes over good things.
I think the movie "inside out" portrayed in a very beautiful way how our memories are formed and how they remain.
I had a very sad childhood. Many things I don't want to remember at all.

My biggest question is why they are hiding that PSJ is the actual big brother (the mother, himself)? I mean why? And where is Mi So’s father and mother? We heard about the failing guitarist but where is her mother? Please don’t tell me the crazy lady from the trauma is her mother because that will totally muddle the sugar sweet relationship our OTP has! Ep 8 was da best though! I like girls who take charge! *finger heart*

Despite the ending, I think they will backpedal thanks to that most annoying and irritating elder brother or maybe his mom interfering between them.
I too don't understand why Mi so is fixated on that kidnapping and her feelings for whoever was with her in that room. It seems obvious that the younger brother was kidnapped and held for four days, given the discrepancies between what Mi so knows and how both brothers behave today, especially the marks on the ankles and the intolerance to cold. Can the truth be out now?

What's Wrong With Secretary Kim: *****SPOILER
So now we know why Lee Tae Hwan was cast as Park Seo Joon's "older" brother. It all makes sense now and we never should have doubted the casting director. Turns out LTW was the younger brother afterall due to some kind of weird switcheroo the family decided to implement after LTH's character passed out one day and lost his memory after the kidnapping incident. Now I really feel sorry for him. He thinks all the memories he had with Mi Soo are his and is so happy he is that childhood connection with her.

I’m watching a lot which results to panda eyes every morning!
Are You Human Too?- They better not touch a single wire on Shin 3’s body or I’ll go terminator mode on them! (Kidding) Enjoying this one so much!
Greasy Melo- On the verge of getting dropped. I feel really bad for Chil-Sung.
Hammurabi- Dropped. I tried watching episode 3 the other day but I couldn’t finish it.
Secretary Kim- Dropped. Doesn’t feel like watching the drama anymore. Will watch Lee Min-ki and Jung So-min cameo scene though.
Come Here And Hug Me- That ending, why is the writer so stingy? This week’s episodes are my favorite so far.....
Goodbye To Goodbye- The only sane character and I care about right now is Jung-hyo. Everyone else is crazy.
Lawless Lawyer- Still watching for LJK & SYJ!
Life On Mars- No words. ❤️❤️❤️
Jealousy Incarnate- This show has not one, not two but three love triangles. Lol.
Empress Ki- Stuck at episode 33.
Signal Japanese remake- Last three episodes were awesome. And I like the ending better than the original.
Ouroboros- Finished this one last weekend, worth it for the performance. Ending made want to punch someone!
Boss And Me- Loving this C-drama so much. Female lead tends to overthink too much but she’s adorable.
Nirvana In Fire-Rewatching this gem because why not. And I’m enjoying it just as much as when I first watched it.

Ouroboros is gold. That has my two fave J-actors in it. I forgot about it, so I think I am going to check it out again. Thanks!

Wok of love : im waiting for the day seo poond find outh that dishwasher ahjumma is sae woo's mom. And why must chil seung saw them kissing in front of his building when he wanted to go to poong to see his happy face at those empty bowls? Writernim, dont be too mean please.
Miss hammurabi : i studying law, and i hope i have oh reum bravery. I know sometimes she overreacted but honestly i love that because it her passion what moving her. It better to regret what youre doing than doing nothing. I want to have that passion and bravery but with a cool head.
About time : dont say to me dong ha find out the reason mi ka left him because he find out secret letter inside that duck(?) doll. That will be lame. And who normaly digging into that tiny hole? Forced coincidence.
CAHM: to slow, to slow, but i keep watching tho because.. im not sure. Actually the script kind of empty and going nowhere and till the last episodes its all super tangled situations, but maybe it the actors, the nuance or just because i cant hold my curiosity about the story so i keep watching.
Life on mars : ❤️❤️❤️. I know dong cheol is violence, but i love his character the most when it comes about comedy. He is so funny when he is being quick witted and creative. I mean banged someone head to get dna sample, and force his junior to drink the sleeping medicine to know how strong it contents, fighting with no sound and fighting with no fist or kick but spit, LOL, didnt see those all coming. And i dont want to believe tae joo father was the perpetrator. His personality just didnt match with the killer profile and M.O. I definitely looking forward for this mystery to be solved.

What's Wrong With Secretary Kim - It's not like I can't see the flaws but this drama just makes me happy. I love the OTP. I like the office mates. I didn't think I would like the brother conflict or childhood trauma, but surprisingly, I'm interested in seeing what happens.
Greasy Melo - At this point, I'm just watching out of loyalty, I think. It's kind of the opposite of Secretary Kim in that I don't care about the OTP's romance or like most of the kitchen staff and find the hotel conflict kind of boring. The friendship scenes with the three leads are great though.
Come and Hug Me - The pre-emptions have really killed the momemtum for me, but Hyun Moo is a really interesting character, and I'm a sucker for found families.

Are You Human Too I like it. The story is original and changes with the other dramas (police, lawyer, medical, etc). It's refreshing. I like the fact they really made a effort in the post production.
What's Wrong... PSJ and PMY are perfect in their role : the comedy, the sad scenes, the chemistry all is great ! For me, they miscasted the brother, LTW looks older than his age but not older than PSJ. The character of the perfect guy in the office is boring. I love the character of the best frien, he's so funny but he's smart and says what must be said.
Come and Hug Me and <Investigation Couple I think the production missed the opportunity that World Cup gave to them to put things straight (story, editing, etc.)
Miss Hammurabi I just watch it because I started it...
Life on MarsOne of my favourite ! All is super fun :D
Secret MotherI'm feeling there are two dramas in one : the story with the kidnapping and death of the daughter and the ajummas with their husbands. It's a little bit weird.

Been way behind on the dramas I planned to watch. It didn't help I fell into a marathon of my first Lakorn.
Secretary Kim: I love that Secretary Kim does not seem conflicted between the brothers when it comes to romantic feelings. Still my must watch show. A bit worried that with so many eps left some big angst might appear.
Switch: I knew it! I just knew it. Oddly this is my turn my brain off and just watch show.
Cheese in the Trap: I devoured the first few eps and plan on some more this weekend. I like the two leads a lot. I was having fun in the first one when she is the only one that notices that there could of be something off with him, I wish they'd played with that a bit more. It had a sort of fun gothic feel.
BUT, even though boy has some issues, when she gave him the watch and he gave her the hug? How does she not hug him back?? I am not a hugger but I'd be like, okay, let's hug. Lol.
I have so many dramas I was determined to start, continue, or finish. I am not adding any more until I do with the shows I already chose. So my shows will consist of those mentioned plus:
School 2017. Two eps left.
Smile, You: finally get past ep 30
10 Miles of Peach Blossoms: continue on. I like it every time I start it ....not sure why all the stop and go.
Circle: start after finish School.
Behind Your Smile: start. Finally. Haven't seen a Taiwanese drama yet.
Dear Sister: watch more than one ep.

Super cute. The boy has some smooth moves.....except for when he wants to share his music.
Speaking of I like the simple instrumental that plays when X shows up.

I'm up to 3 dramas but have a filler( the Undateables for when the others have been caught up and as soon as Life On Mars or Are You Human Too? come.out I am on them with a quickness. A moment of boredom had me seeing if Children of a Lesser God had been subbed. And yeah it had! after all the disappointing searches while it was airing now I have a non airing one to watch. I am realizing that I am more likely to stick with a mystery than a straight-out romance no matter how good the chemistry. I love them and will watch them but after the first kiss or confession I sometimes just fade out. I have a particular weakness with mysteries with a fantasy element like Life On Mars or Children of a Lesser God even when the "mysteries" are not Really that mysterious. Anyone else see CoaLG?
