They really gave So-min a job! Haha. She and Kwang-soo are really cute in the episode that they were paired. Can't remember if I have ever watched Se-chan but I do hope that the addition will bring in more fun.

Maybe by adding more cast members, they are trying to do what "1 Night, 2 Days" is doing, which is to have more episodes focused on the games/activities with the solid cast line-up that they have and invite less guests XD Either way, I'm just glad and happy that they're learning ~!!!

I'm actually sad that Running Man is getting revived. I heard about all the members injuries and it's so bad for them. :(

I missed Jeon So Min since 1% of anything ended. Finally something with her in it. She was hilarious in Happy Together's beautiful woman special. Girl, needs to be casted in a drama soon too!

I actually had kind of tuned out for a bit but this news has got me excited! Jeon So Min's skit segment on Knowing Brothers was absolutely hilarious (seriously was dying) so I feel like she will do well on variety.

I'm glad Running Man is trying some new things to get their spark back. I've also felt it struggled a bit since Gary left. I adored Jeon So Min in her guest appearance- I hope she does well as a regular!

I am not familiar at all with Yang Se-chan. But I like Jeon So-min. I hope the haters give the newbies a chance.

Have been a fan of Running Man but have been losing enthusiasm since the firing fiasco. Am still missing the recap by gummimochi! Glad there is another RM fan in dramabeans *waving at tipsymocha.
Dunno how this new casting will work, but will check the first few eps anyway.

I liked Joen So Min but the fans were vicious. Half of the people who say shit about casting and complain don't even watch the show. Ratings are down, that's the reason they are shaking things up. People were reacting as if she is solely responsible for all the crap that happened off screen. I like Ji Hyo too but in a show with so many male members what's the matter if they add another charming gal, at any rate they shouldn't have attacked her like that on Instagram.

Considering chemistry with Lee Kwangsoo, I'm sad Wang Jihye not chosen. I have nothing against Jeon Somin, though. She has great character too. And I also think RM need a new frontline.

I love RM, and I will admit when I first saw the news of the cast additions I was hesitant. I love the cast as is, and while I agree that there has been a huge hole since Gary left, and the program has been lackluster, I did feel like they were settling into a groove without Gary.

I'm curious how the cast dynamics will change now with the addition of these two new cast members. I thought Jeon So-min was absolutely kooky and hilarious in last week's episode, and a love line with Kwang-Soo could have the potential to inspire Monday Couple-level fervor with the audience, or could lead to hilarious conflicts.

So while I liked her guest spot, I am more ambivalent with Yang Se-Chan's addition. I thought he tried too hard with his guest spot on the show and part of the charm of Running Man is how effortless the members make their actions funny. I felt he relied too heavily on gags and at times tried to overtake Ji Suk-Jin's and Lee Kwang-Soo's moments of hilarity.

I hope the casting works out and Running Man can continue to run for years to come.

I am not sure if this would work but Jeon So Min sure was hilarious! I love Ji Hyo being the centre of attention but i wouldn't mind seeing some fresh blood. As an international fan, I do not contribute to ratings even if I watch RM without fail every week. So, I hope this at least gives a boost to their ratings! Also, it is better to add new members than to kick out old ones. But, in some corner of my heart I was still screaming- 7012 forever!!

I hope this would bring good for RM. As a fan from first episode, I agree with tipsymocha that RM kinda 'lost' something. Korean netizen need to be more open to this option, since it will bring new dynamic in the show. Seven years is big things, but I think RM really need this member addition.

I just finished watching RM with JSM and I was thinking she'd be great at variety. When I finished, I came straight to Dramabeans to catchup....wow, good timing.

I like both additions, and like many have said previously, love the show, but am definitely looking for some freshness.

The earlier episodes always gave me goosebumps with the unexpected twists. I miss the name tag games, but I've always assumed that they reduced/removed it because 1) the cast get injured a lot from it, 2) they've become too good at it. The spy concept is exciting but too overused that the members expect it (remember LKS's recent epic fail! LOL)

Tbh I worry for SJH because whenever there's a female guest, she steps aside and gives the guest the spotlight. Will she also let JSM get the attention of being a girl? I feel like with the addition of another girl, she may get a even smaller role. Her Ace Jihyo and Monday Couple character is already lost. The boys all kind of have a character still, but they seem to have forgotten to create a new one for Jihyo. She's my fave member and I hope she never leaves.
