Kisses and cuddles for fantasy romance Splish Splash Love

Oh my goodness, these two are so cute together. It’s not often that I care to follow two-episode drama specials when so many of them come and go and most of them are forgettable, but I can’t wait to check out MBC’s time-slip fantasy romance Splish Splash Love, because Yoon Doo-joon (Let’s Eat 2) and Kim Seul-gi (Oh My Ghostess) make the most adorable couple.
The newest teaser shows more of the romance side of things, as Yoon Doo-joon’s King Lee Do (Sejong the Great) and a quirky time-traveling high school student from the 21st century meet and fall in love. At this point I don’t even care that it’s impossible for them to stay together. (I mean, unless she stays in Joseon forever, right? We can’t have Sejong leaving Joseon — what would happen to language and history?) I think I’ll enjoy the ride either way.
The coming-of-age tale is about a high school girl with rain-powered teleporting abilities, who accidentally drops into Joseon one day and meets a young king who’s just as lost as she is. They’ll fall in love and help each other discover their paths, in a lighthearted story about “A love that falls like rain.”
Splish Splash Love will be released as a web drama on NaverCast, and also as a drama special on MBC. The web episodes will be shorter in length, and Episodes 1-5 will be released December 10-14, and Episodes 6-10 will be released December 17-21. On TV, it’ll air in two parts, Sunday December 13 and 20.

Dear Risa, as long as I know this small series is designed to be nice but also to fill the gap for the new one after that (if it means the subsequent serie will be well acted, well written and well directed, then I am all in).
Besides that, it will keep its plot tight because there will be no time to be meandrous with the narrative (or at least I hope so). If it goes well, it could be a pretty good watch as 2007's The Story of Hyang Dan was.
Let's expect the best ;) .

I so badly want to watch this and I hope the end sub will be available in the Asian region cos sometimes viki.com is not accessible here. I am still waiting for snow lotus to be subbed in English n sad to say I can't find any website that has got it so far. Pls if anyone knows where I can watch it, do let me know, tqvm

aaaahhh!!! to think the king is from the past on traditional age and the girl is a modern style, its just might be very interesting from the culture itself.
i mean in the past the king would never imagine there is a girl like her. she must be nothing like anyone he ever know. and usually, in every romance story, it works so good :D

Wooo..those scenes looks so romantic. I am happy for this girl. Was always looking forward to her since I saw her in flower boy. And she was so darn good in oh my ghostess, though I did not like how that drama ended.

Eeeeee! I feel so happy and sad at the same. Happy that with the 2-parts drama durationg it's going to be a fun ride with no fillers within but sad it will never get enough to watch this pair with such limited span of time. But really, can't wait!

I found kim seulgi is so charming even not beautiful as kim tae hee, but she's just charming and cutie and adorable and likeable and omaigat,

Oh please make it at least 4 episodes! I cant wait for this. I always have a soft spot for Kim Seul Gi, and really waiting the day she will truly shine. Yoon Do Joon also never disappointed.

Is OST by Beast? The vocals sound like DoJoon and kikwang's voice.
Do Joon got a manly classic face perfect for his role. Kim Seul-gi is just so adorable. I love her natural prettiness.

This show is too cute. And he is writing the letters L-O-V-E on her palm. Is that a countdown for the kiss? Too cute. Love Doojoon and Seulgi together. Can't wait for the lovey dover and funny!

I love this girl since Flower Boy Next Door, I found her acting in all of her dramas are sooo good, sometimes even better than the main lead. She looks quite dorky (in a very good way, dorky is VERY cute in my book). I found her acting superb and I want to watch more of her!!!! I hope she will be the main lead in a longer run drama sometime in the near future

It's sweet & funny! As usual, Kim Seulgi delivers the chemistry. Doojoon's charm is really irresistable and KSG is an aegyo monster! I love it! Can't wait for the part 2! Hope DB can make an exception and recap a drama special. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one. ?

really nice drama! because of good acting n chemistry of dujun oppa n kim seulgi. i enjoy watching this drama even if the story is impossible. really jumping2 on the laugh haha. why just 2 episode??? it'll be moorrrreeee good if more than 2 episode hehe. wait for the next drama or movie playing by yoon doojoon oppa ^^
