WOW, there was a lot of drama this year. But only some really stuck out to me. My faves this year:

Pinocchio
God's Gift - 14 Days
Discovery of Love
Bad Guys

Sucks they're mainly underrated dramas. And I can already see the winner being YFTS in most of the categories. IMO it was overrated, I tried watching it and I just can't get myself to like JJH's character. It's just not my cup of tea.

I am blindly riding the Ha Woo Jin train all the way through.

It's sad how underrated You're all surrounded, Bad Guys, Gapdong and Three Musketeers are ! Well its acceptable that majority would prefer romantic comedy over other genres

It's so funny that many votes YFAS as the best drama, then votes YFAS as overrated drama! Idk, but I think YFAS truly deserved the ratings. For me, Emergancy Couple was way overrated since it got buzz and ratings on cable but the story itself tanks.
The underrated ones definitely Full Sun, A New Leaf, Miss Korea.

I think many people love Jae Yeol-Hae Soo pairing no?

But still, my favorites in this one are Empress Ki and You From Another Star. That 2 dramas totally own my heart till now.

Wow, this poll made me realize I've only really watched 3-4 dramas this year.

aww why couldn't I vote for secret love affair for most dissapointing? What a waste of potential that was. Also none of my potential pairings where there... then again I think despite not enjoying the drama at all...that min suk and jin woo were my favourite alternative pairing haha

Such a shame that "Tears of Heaven" is not included in your Best Melodrama section. It is by far better than anything else you listed there.

It's so hard to vote for break out performance! Yoona's Street stole my heart so I voted for it as best drama of 2014. Unfortunately, I think it's also the most underrated. Anyway, Kim Okbin and Lee Heejoon are dating in real life now so not complaining. Nothing better than your OTP coming true. Can't wait for the end of the year reviews. Thanks so much!

Really shocked to see Plus Nine Boys on the disappointing list. I didn't expect much of that drama but gave it a try, and it ended up being one of the most heartfelt and sweet dramas I've watched! Plus the whole cast is cute as all get-out.

Never was a YFAS fan, so I think I'll have to settle for runner-up on a lot of these polls, but that's okay. Surprised to see Marriage Not Dating getting so much love but I'm not unhappy about it. I'm so glad cable channels like TVN exist because the big networks wouldn't have taken a chance and cast those two leads. I can't wait to see what Han Groo and Yeon Woo Jin do next.

Love seeing Shin Sun Rok beat himself out for the Best Villain category. :)

IMHO You forgot to add Joo Jin Mo in the biggest waste of talent, I don't even know how they could manage to cast a star like that and give him this kind of treatment. Disgusting!

The most overrated drama is Marriage Not Dating really.

I mean...

For YFAS, everyone knew it was overrated, so yeah.

For FTLY, everyone, even the fans, admitted that everything after ep8 went downhill (but you just can't give up on it because you love the first part so much).

For MND, the international community loved it even though it's so bland. Branded as a pure rom-com with no angst but it's not even remotely funny. Or maybe it's just me.

A little difficult choosing because I think I'm still in the honeymoon stage and found quite a few shows very entertaining but the witty captions make it really fun. it's a bit unfair for recently drama coz a lot of people judged before even watching it. 4 now,i'm totally into pinocchio. It's a roller-coaster of emotions type of drama. Once u watch ep1,u got hooked immediately.
I've watched ep1 of mlfts n i fall asleep b4 it's ends..lol.
I'm not trying to judge. Juz stated my opinion. Take it if u want n ignore if u disagree. Peace!

Am I the only one loving the dark dramas this year? Two of my favorites are Gap Dong and Bad Guys :D Not to say that I didn't like the others, but I wanted to vote for the underdogs...

Two words: LIAR GAME

It's Okay, It's Love has to be the most underrated drama this year! The drama is absolutely brilliant in every way possible. It needs more recognition.

Most of my votes went to Naeil's cantabile since it just ended. IMO, I think all the cable tv dramas really shine this year. The story and execution really stood out from the big 3. My favorite Korea drama of the year is definitely Bride of the century.

YFAS is the drama of the year for me! It was soooooo good! Love everything about it. It was this show that got me into kdramas and hence on this blog that I check daily!

Hmm I actually wanted to choose Liar Game as the most underrated drama, too bad it's not in the option. I know it did okayyyy, but with its quality, it should have done FAR FAR better than just okay.

It's so disappointing and annoying really...I was hoping that at least for the Beanies, YFAS won't swept all the awards.
One may think that mainstream taste has to prevail everywhere, arghhh...
