How is it already this time of the year? Loving these awards, provides hilarious commentary, the one choice for mane of glory cracked me up! As did the last category, ha! Too right, i'm very much looking forward to the end of year recaps! I think this year was alright - i generally enjoyed the dramas i watched this year (besides dropping gumiho and only halfassing my way through heirs - bo na and chanyoung are tooo adorable for me to drop it) but im not sure if this year is going to be all that memorable for me in terms of dramas, i feel like i was expecting more

loved it. thanks for the laughs. the hardest category was the least tear inducing first world problem!! :)

I love that Heirs has so many votes in positive categories but also so many votes in negative ones!

Favorite thing about the end-of-year roundup...they help me remember which ones I'd missed over the year.

Gosh, you guys are so creative with all these. I burst out laughing at every other choice. BEST one was shark: guppy. Oh my, I must be drunk. Anyway I love things like these! Reflecting on a year's worth of kdramas and spazzing with fellow watchers. Looking forward to those reviews, fighting! :D

And Heirs = most disappointing drama of the year for sure, I see that almost everyone agrees (given the numbers of course)! I agree as well...

But I'm surprised that Gu Family Book doesn't get more votes...

To be honest, I didn't watch that many dramas this year, so I couldn't vote for everything :/.

like cmon, seriously? the last one where the most stupid problems should be entire heirs. i mean , the plot's too heavy and its hard to take the cast too seriously cuz , just because. seriously the nerve in my head burst when the 'high school kids' act like some major-ass tragedy has occured.
and im sick and tired of all the (over)analyzing that goes on after each episode. its just the most overrated drama, which was disappointing cuz i actually love the cast. ppl can love the cast but its a huge lie if ppl think the story is remotely sensible. stupid, plain stupid

All of the dramas this year have been duds to me, except Secret and 2 weeks. Everything else just didn't hold my attention. I've only seen the 1st episode of Reply 1994 and it was pretty boring to me, but I'm going to marathon it after it ends because I really loved 1997. It's just that the episodes are so damn long!

The most overrated drama this year is definitely Master's Sun and Heirs to me. I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads, their kissing scenes sucked, and the drama as a whole was so predictable and lame. The Heirs is just crap...I Can Hear Your Voice didn't hold my attention and I don't think Lee Jong Suk is as good-looking or as good an actor as everyone here seems to think, but I guess I'll give it another chance once my Ji Sung drama spree has died down a little.

Master's Sun ftw! The School 2013 bromance was the best no contest.

I think IHYV is overrated and AAMR is underrated. And I think there are more dysfunctional relationship in the other dramas more than in Heirs (like the weekend dramas like Soon-shin or King's Family not to mention Secret or That Winter). And I'm not disappointed with Heirs because I had low expectations to begin with so I'm kinda enjoying it as it is. I can't believe there are any good family and historical dramas this year (though I chose CGF because it was the least frustrating and Empress Ki even though it just started)

Hope there was a vote for best soundtrack because I really love Master's Sun's.

Also, after the finale today, "Mirae's Choice" should show up on the "most disappointing" and "most wasted talent" drama. Good lord.

And, I was a little sad to see that So Ji Sub could not be on the "best abs" category, as TMS did not treat us to that. Ah well!

I'm a little sad for End of the world and Cruel Palace. They were great dramas imo. At least Heartless City got some loving so I'm happy. Thank you JTBC and tvN.

Yay! Been waiting for the start of the end-of-year polls and reviews. This year, I tried my darnedest to watch as many dramas as I could and yet looking at the sheer numbers of dramas present here, I realized how much I utterly failed, LOL.

Anyways, I realized that a lot of drama fit in several categories so I'll just list them here in this comment since I can't vote for more than one anyways.

Favorite dramas: School 2013, Secret, Nine, Two Weeks, Cyrano Dating Agency, I Hear Your Voice

Favorite Comedy: Answer Me 1994

Favorite Historical Drama: didn’t even watch a single one in this category.

Favorite Weekend Series: I gave up at some point on all four of the ones I started. Looks like weekend series and historical dramas are not my thing.

Favorite Action/Thriller: Hands down both Nine and Two Weeks.

Favorite Melodrama: Secret and somewhat That Winter, the Wind Blows.

Favorite Lead Couple: I Hear Your Voice’s puppy and noona and Master’s Sun’s OTP.

Favorite Secondary/Tertiary Couples: Samcheonpo and Yoon-jin; Heir’s Bona and Chan-young; and Master’s Sun’s Little Sun and Kang Candy.

Favorite Bromance: Hands down Nam-soon and Heung-soo. * SQUEE * Nobody else even comes close.

Villain Most Fun To Hate: I Hear Your Voice’s one-handed villain and Secret’s ex-bf hit-and-run bf.

Best Kiss: fake-oppa kiss of That Winter, The Wind Blows; Jin-wook’s sizzling kiss of Nine; puppy’s kiss from IHYV; Answer Me 1994’s oppa kiss.

Favorite character: there were way too many lovable characters. My pick goes to Go Nam-soon (School 2013); Soo (That Winter, The Wind Blows); Sun-woo (Nine); Baksa Adeul (Heartless City); Park Su-ha (IHYV); Park Shi-On (Good Doctor); Tae-San (Two Weeks); Young-do (Heirs); Joong-won (Master’s Sun); Bo-Na (Heirs); Oppa-yah (Reply 1994).

Fav Alternative Pairing: only Oppa-yah works for me if endgame is Chilbongie.

Most Dysfunctional Relationship: TWTWB, Secret, YTBLSS, Heirs

Breakout Performance: KIM FREAKING WOO BIN and LEE JONG SEOK. Also pretty much the cast of Reply 1994.

Most Disappointing Drama: TWTWB and Basketball because I had high expectations for them but they didn’t turn out so well (although TWTWB is way better than Basketball).

Biggest Waste of Talent: Jo Jung Seok (YTBLSS), Joo Won (Level 7 Civil Servant)

Overrrated: Heirs, Heartless City (only three characters were the best thing about this drama); Master’s Sun; TWTWB

Underrated: Nine, Two Weeks, School 2013 (was this really underrated??)

Best Abs: of course, the drama with the most abs..Reply 1994

Best frenemies: School 2013, IHYV

Best Paranormal: Nine, IHYV, Master’s Sun

This years vote was especially hard for me mostly the favorite drama vote, sure Secret and I Hear Your Voice were easy choices for the first two slots but there were 4 or 5 more fighting for that last vote from me.

Also I think you picked the wrong kiss from Secret for the best kiss category. If the category was most important kiss of the year or of all time then the you're-fighting-me-'cause-you-want-it? kiss would be the right choice and frankly in my opinion should win but not for best kiss if, you don't understand the subtext that kiss just looks wrong. The kiss at the end should have been the choice and I would have voted for that simply because while I've seen plenty of guys playing around moving slower than molasses in January, I don't think I've ever seen the woman take matters into her own hands like that, certainly not in a melodrama.

I can't believe there is no YEH and LDG best kiss scene! What a joke

I CAN NOT believe that the Heartless City kiss was not on this list!! What are you thinking!?? Maybe whoever did this list skipped that particular episode. Go back and watch it again. Episode 10, the first 5 mins!

Looks like I loved all the high school dramas this year... School 2013, Monstar and Heirs.

I hear your voice was really good at first and I was rooting it for drama of the year. But it fell flat at some point. The characters, the plot, the court explanations smelled of plastic, I could not longer connect with the story beyond the cute puppy gestures by Lee Jong Seok.

I seriously don't understand this fuss about Choi Jin hyuk! I tried to be unbiased but he's just being overrated tbh! I can't see the great performance he's done in GFB that everyone has been freaking out about. Neither I can see the hotness in his hairstyle. I mean he's not a pirates!

Interesting. So i know im going to go watch end of the world since i've heard good things about it and i like to give some love to underrated shows.
Second, i have to agree with the many comments that mi-rae's choice should be among the most disappointing shows of 2013. haha
My favorite category was of course the least-tear inducing first world problems. I thought the whole cast of Heirs deserved that award, lol.

I had a hard time voting this time around, so many good dramas to choose and so many bad ones to choose to. Had a good laugh about the MOST GLORIOUS MANE OF GLORY category, where Choi Jin Hyuk is the SOLE candidate.

If it had secret I voted that plus a lot of school, I hear, heartless and master =))

But the best was the mane glory with only one pick hahahaha
