Yoon Eun-hye and Jung Yong-hwa’s first shoots for Mirae’s Choice

Cameras are rolling on the set of upcoming KBS drama Mi-rae’s Choice, aka Future Choice, aka Wormholes Are For Personal Do-Overs So Screw the Butterfly Effect Imma Get My Happy Ending Dammit. Yoon Eun-hye (I Miss You) stars as scrappy upbeat heroine Mi-rae, who one day gets a visit from her time-traveling future self (played by Choi Myung-gil), with advice on how to make her dreams come true. Why is it always the case that when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is? Just be sure to read the fine print for the brain fetus clause, is all I’m sayin’!

None of this explains Yoon Eun-hye’s ajumma perm, which is apparently a setup for her transformation after meeting her future self. Listen, abuses of time travel privileges aside, that’s the first thing I’d fix too. Once her future self gets her ass in gear, she’ll be leaving her dead-end job at a corporate call center and chasing her dream as a writer in broadcast news. There she’ll meet star anchor Lee Dong-gun… Problem is, part of Future Mi-rae’s agenda is to keep her from being with the hero, for reasons unknown. Or reasons irrational, if you ask me.

Perhaps that means second lead Jung Yong-hwa has a chance at getting the girl after all? To everyone at the office he’ll just be the rookie VJ, but he’s actually the grandson of the network’s CEO, playing undercover boss. Han Chae-ah plays a reporter on the team, who will challenge the heroine for both guys.

Mirae’s Choice comes from one half of the writing duo behind The King 2 Hearts and the PD of Crime Squad. It’s set to follow Good Doctor on Mondays/Tuesdays and premieres October 14.

My dream is to see Yoon Eun-hye with Binnie, I always wanted to see them act together! It would be nice if he played a former gangster son, who got reject from his girlfriend that a great background. He meets Yoon Eun_hye who has been bullied all her life so having a gangster boyfriend is like hitting the bodyguard lottery, she cling to him like Gong sil in Master Sun. If they do a drama along those lines with a lot of skinship because he a tough guy so that kiddy crap is out! I don't know what she could have been bullied for I thought maybe weight but he did that with Sam Soon, so know I think a physical or mental disability would do.

i instantly remember Siwan, since Moon Sun despite his great acting skill he never get big project..he always only get sitcom, child actor, or short drama..i think he quite popular but it not only about popularity i think...but also agency power and overseas selling power

All i can say is YEH is great actress.. as for YH hmm he need to free himself from being 'cool' , it made him look like a piece of wood with no expression! try too much can ruin the character too. just my 2 cents

this drama sounds interesting but why the ahjumma hair why??? :( if I came back from the future, i'd totally make sure to stop myself from having such an ugly hairdo!
I still dont understand why yonghwa get such big roles.. well, we know some idols are cast because of ratings that become $$ but man, HE ONLY HAS ONE FACIAL EXPRESSION and he milked it in YAB and Heartstrings enough...! Hope FNC can invest in acting classes to improve Minhyuk, Jungshin and Jonghyun's acting skills because they are by far more versatile than Yonghwa...

both of them is bad but on different area...while jonghyun teribble on lines delivery, yonghwa is teribble on facial expression...

I can never win with this actress. I've been trying to find a drama I'd enjoy watching her in for years now. I liked her well enough in Goong that I want to see her in something I'd enjoy.
I know Coffee Prince would be the logical choice but I can't bring myself to watch that drama (the set up doesn't really appeal to me).
But this doesn't look like it's be one I'll be watching either.

Yonghwa's truly a great performer on stage. He deserves all the praises of being a great musician.

However, in terms of acting, he needs to relax and forget the feeling of "ok, I'm currently acting". Just let it all out and go with the flow. Then I think he'll be able to act decently.

I saw that in his short cameo in A Gentleman's Dignity. Perhaps because he's playing his own persona, but he's more flexible and much better there compared to Heartstrings.

Agreed. Fried hairdo to the MAX! and Frumpy looking too!Poor Yoon Eun Hye has to go out in public with that hair...How is she going to romance the lead looking like that?
Can't wait to see Mirae get a decent makeover.

Trust me, nothing appeals more to a goodlooking, charismatic and confident man more than a girl with curly frumpish hair. She would only have to worry if her rival sports a sexy fishbowl haircut - no Korean drama hero could ever resist THAT.

Now THAT is a true fact.
Rich handsome men are also unable to fight their temptation to women who throw up on them or have one broken heel.

"Hope FNC can invest in acting classes to improve Minhyuk, Jungshin and Jonghyun’s acting skills because they are by far more versatile than Yonghwa…"

LOL, are u sure?! Jonghyun has only did one small role in the Gentlemen's Dignity up to now, Jungshin is better he has done two but the recent one has less than 60 mins airtime throughout the whole drama. So how do u come to this conclusion that they are more versatile in acting?! What are the grounds you built your judgement on? Funniest statement I've ever seen. It's ok to have different opinion but please make sure you say something that does, at least, make sense.

Jonghyun and Minhyuk were in a movie before Jonghyun
did Gentleman's Dignity. And yeah Jonghyun is no better than Yonghwa. For me though out of all CNBLUE guys, Minhyuk is the best one in terms of acting.

I'm giving Yonghwa a chance though since he's CNBlue.

Jung Yong-hwa needs to remember acting is not about looking good. He is too aware of the cameras.

Actors have to be comfortable to wear their characters as themselves. Even if it needs them to look horrible. So in this case YEH is fine.

I would have loved to watch this for Jung Yonghwa. But YEH looks so awful with that hair-do. So i don't see myself watching this one. I totally hate it when handsome guys run behind not-at-all-beautiful girls. And she so doesn't look good in this.

YEH herself was an idol turned actress so I wonder what were the comments way back in the day when she started? She probably would have taken some of the roles struggling young actresses coveted too. At least people gave her a chance to prove herself unlike the hypocrisy of netizens that I'm seeing these days with so many of the idol actors.

In my opinion though, she only has 2 modes in all the dramas ive seen her in. Cute and sad ( I steered clear of the wreck that was IMY).

YEH is amazing for me I love her acting. For yonghwa I remember he got the role in YAB before cnblue debut,so it wasn't because he was popular and minhyuk who acted before auditioned also but the image suited yonghwa more so you can blame the director, then peole liked him and reporters made headlines about him so you can also blame those people who liked to see him for their bad taste. FNC doesn't have the power as big companies to make people like someone or hate someone it's personal taste. In heartstrings aside from his poor acting the lines were so bad so the fail wasn't only him and bad ratings happen like in love rain although jgs is so talented actor. yonghwa is smart person if someone told him where is exactly his problem he can overcome it but I think working with great actors like LDG will be good for him ,sometimes it is good that the second lead is not that great to keep the highlight for the 1st lead may be they thought that way.

I'd definitely watch it if thats the case. I'll take small peeks every episode till she looks better. But is it really necessary to make every kdrama heroine look terrible in the beginning and then get a makeover??? What will they lose if she looks pretty throughout??? Oh dramaland..

hhhhhhhh....so you won't watch until she looks pretty.you seem so picky, but I guess if the story was attractive and catchy from the beginning we all will watch it ,whither her hair is perm or straight. she is really good actress.
