Dramabeans at KCON, who’s up for an LA meetup?

A reminder to everyone who’s planning on going to KCON in Los Angeles this weekend: Dramabeans will be talking at a panel on Saturday, so drop by!

The K-drama panel is on Saturday morning, August 24. I’ll be on the panel with girlfriday (and gummimochi and HeadsNo2 will also be in attendance), chatting with drama actor Sean Richard Dulake (Athena, Jejoongwon) and PD Kim Won Suk of Monstar and Sungkyunkwan Scandal! It should be a blast.

Everyone enjoys a good Korean drama. Whether it be that most romantic kiss, the heart wrenching struggle between forbidden lovers, or the unrealistic yet comical and amusing characters, Korean dramas keep us in our seats for hours. Join our special guests as they delve deep into the world of K-drama and give us an expert’s point of view on this genre of Korean Pop culture.

FLASH MEETUP!

However, if you’re not planning on going to KCON but are still down to chill with the Dramabeans gang, we’re planning on rustling up an impromptu meetup on Friday, August 23. So if you’re going to be in LA on Friday evening and want to drop by to chat for a couple hours, check back here Thursday and we’ll let you know where and when to catch us.

So far this is what we’ve got: It’ll be Friday, in Koreatown, in the evening. We promise to get more organized before then!
