Dramabeans at KCON 2013!

Heads up for all of you in the LA area (or who are willing to travel to the LA area in the name of K-pop, which we fully endorse as a worthy endeavor): Dramabeans will be speaking at a panel about dramas at KCON 2013!
KCON, in a nutshell, is a large-scale convention and concert dedicated to “all things Hallyu,” now in its second year (apparently 10,000 fans showed up last year). It will be held this year on August 24-25 (Saturday & Sunday) and features panels and workshops planned over both days, capped off with a concert Sunday night. The lineup as it currently stands is: G-Dragon, 2AM, EXO, f(x), Teen Top, and DJ Koo.
The drama panel girlfriday and I will be at will be held on Saturday morning (11:30 AM) and is hosted by your friendly neighborhood drama-crack-provider Viki. (Thanks, Viki!) And wouldn’t ya know, Viki is currently hosting a ticket giveaway, so enter over there to win free admission.
Or, buy your own tickets at Ticketmaster. Note that you buy one ticket that’s listed for the Sunday concert, but it’ll get you in to both convention and concert, Saturday and Sunday.

- Who: Us! That’s javabeans and girlfriday on the drama panel, with gummimochi and HeadsNo2 also in attendance (though we can’t vouch for their whereabouts as they may or may not be busy stalking G-Dragon, ahem).

NOOOOOOOO. i opted out of kcon because they only announced like 2 groups for their lineup before selling tickets, and i didn't care for them. so then i ended up planning a vegas trip with my friends instead. now gd AND dramabeans are gunna be there?! what is this unfairness. i want to see you guys so much, it's making me so sad. i wish could magically receive a ticket for my birthday :(

I'm so jealous! I wish I can be in LA! But that is near a day's plane ride away from Malaysia... with stops and all....But, Have a great time ya all - Aja-Aja Hwaitin' - yeah it would be great if Dramabeans can video your segment and share them with us here on your blog!

I hope you guys can start posting Kpop/Kdrama/Kcon, anything Korean entertainment related, events (nationwide) on here. I'm really bad at looking for these things myself and don't get any news in the middle of nowhere (Midwest) very regularly or timely.

Awww man so close yet so far. I will be on a 2 and a half week trip to the US West Coast and will be in LA on August 13 to 17. Ugh the one time I had the money and the vacation days to plan a trip to the US and I missed you guys :(((.
