Hi everyone. I've been catching up on some of the older TW Dramas that THE-STREAMING-SERVICE-THAT-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED has added recently (PS MAN, Easy Fortune Happy Life).
I also rewatched Flower Boy Ramen Shop again after finishing FBND. Still think the first was by far the best.
I'm liking Queen of Ambition far more than I thought I would. It really does appear that the writers and directors learned something from An Innocent Man. This is another melodrama that is heavy on the suspense and light on the melodrama.
Still watching L7CS, even though it's nonsensical.
As far as TWTWB...I just know we're going to be sinking deep into melodrama now, so not sure I want to stick around.
Otherwise, still watching 100 Years Inheritance. Still laughing over the ex-mother-in-law's screen chewing eeevvvillneess, although she's eased up a little recently without her daughter-in-law to hate and kick around.
Hi everyone on OT hope you have a weekend with a couple of good K drama episodes.
There are slowly many new posters so wanted to say hi.
Rarely have time for OT as it comes out after midnight my time.
Just wanted to say keep supporting the freedom to watch K dramas and read about them.I am not in the US and even though I have viki access and can watch dramas raw, the whole idea of a single small company trying to grab a piece of the US market but ignoring the rest of the world or those who don't subscribe to them; it will be ethically wrong to let them get away with it.
Watching a certain site have their accounts terminated, and multiple DCMA notices given to them,I have to admire their tenacity. They are US based and all of us will suffer if they finally give up and stop helping us get the subs. The name?- think soju what is it and then....
They rule over it.
If only I could help more.
So have a good weekend everyone and a good OT
Happy Weekend everyone! This week started out as lion and ended (mostly) as a lamb :) Hooray!
3 weeks of Lent left...3 weeks until a brownie....3 weeks until that seafood dish in my freezer....3 weeks until I can finish Alice and can watch FBRS again with my friend....3 weeks-- Okay, clearly I'm doing this Lent thing wrong, lol! I have vague hopes of improving my attitude (which is so not the way to improve anything, being vague) and serious hopes of being prepared for next year! Although, I now understand what all the fuss is about for Easter dinner!
In other news, uh, well, there isn't much other news :) Work's been wearing me out, even though this was the calmest week in a month of pretty bad ones. There's no one cute at work anymore (altho I have managed to avoid someone I'm not interested in (altho, yay! someone's interested!)). I also keep pondering writing the Faith story. Except I don't really have any ideas. The prsn who originally requested a story for yuletide was, um, less than pleased with...other stuff...and...um, yeah. Basically, I have no confidence. But if folks want to kick out ideas, I'm willing to listen :)
Of to peruse the comments. I feel a bit like a fish out of water since I'm not watching anything but it's lovely seeing familiar faces, and how unfamiliar faces (to me) are familiar to others. It's always been one of the reasons I love the OT.
Am spending this weekend in Hong Kong with a cousin who lives here. Yesterday, while taking the train to the city, I heard Korean being spoken, from the people behind me. I caught 'but' , 'fight' , 'however', some words that I recognize but I couldn't understand anything!! So, am very worried, when I go Seoul next month, am gonna be sooo lost! Can't understand a full sentence at all!! Eeks
Only following TWTWB right now and started on 9 ends, 2outs and discovered an onew lookalike there. Alerted Jeannette on that and now she is watching that! :). It's a good, realistic drama and I love the oh so comfortable and deep friendship that the leads share.
Just wanna also share how thankful I am to have this community of beanuts to share my love and passion for kdramas with. Thanks DB and thanks y'all!
Hi beanies! I'm a humble DB follower but don't quite have the time to spend in the chatroom. I cane to know of the DF stuff right now, and I feel I need to do something! I'm sorry, don't watch Level 7 Civil Servant, but being a faithful beanie, I have to show my support right?
So here is a header, to say We are always with you, JB and GF!

Just finished marathoning Sang Do, Let's Go to School in a day... What an achievement! Kekekekke... Never thought that this drama will make me suffer all night.. Suffer but love it... It's so touching.. I feel like I get dehydration after watched it...
A little late to the party but just want to say a huge THANK YOU to JB, GF and the rest of the DB recappers. This has truly been a crazy week, and what happened was a testament of how much this community truly appreciates what you do! You guys are seriously awesome and keep fighting the good fight!
Onto dramas- trying to catchup on TWTWB (now on ep6) and as much as I' m seriously annoyed with Moo-chul (It is not entirely Oh Soo's fault that Hee-Joo was in love with him and inadvertently caused her acccident WTF), and Hee sun ( love Jung Eun ji but her character is so careless)drama is making me look forward to want happens next. The fauxcest angle is definitely heating up! Almost makes me guilty rooting for both of them, not that there's something wrong with it since obviously they are not really siblings (or ARE they???). Oh,and So-Ra's reappearance make me even worried more for Oh Soo. Pretty sure drama would NOT end well but love the endless possibilities so far, as it is a giant clusterfraack In a good way kekekekeke!
I'm watching King of Dramas right now I and keep finding myself getting distracted because Jung Ryeo-won's hair is So. Freaking. Pretty. I'm having jealousy attacks because it's so shiny and full of body with these perfect long curls.
