Kim Sun-ah’s enviable shoe closet

Okay, I take it back — I might watch this show for the shoes alone. New stills from the set of I Do, I Do show Kim Sun-ah kicking back in her character’s shoe closet, and lordy, will you look at that room? What’s a girl gotta do for a closet like that? Am suddenly eyeing my guestroom surreptitiously… What, shoes need their own space, okay?
They also need their own backlighting, apparently. And to think, all these years I forced my shoes to live in the dark! In boxes! I suppose a top shoe designer really should have a coveted collection to be true to character, but damn, that room reportedly cost $60,000 in designer shoes to fill. WUT? I suppose if my shoe collection cost more than a car, I’d build it a room in the house too. Maybe add a retina scan and humidity controls.
Though the rom-com setup seems pretty straightforward as far as plot goes, I am really looking forward to Kim’s alpha-girl character, who seems unabashedly proud of her successful career. I’m sure her relationship with the rookie noona-killer (Lee Jang-woo) will bring her down a peg or two, but I’m going to enjoy a story about a woman who likes to be on top. With good shoes to boot.
I Do, I Do premieres Wednesday on MBC.

A girl's got a tough choice on her hands-- financial security in old age with stocks/bonds/pensions or fancy shoes and handbags lined up in colour order?

I`m sure, after a few episode, many of us here will be interested with the plot and not the shoes alone, KSA superb acting is more powerful than any item on the shelves. Lets wait and see, it`s not that hard to appreciate a good drama!

My shoes cost more than a car but they also suffer in boxes because when they are displayed like that there is a ton of dust and the lights fade them.

I won't watch this drama. I cannot identify myself or sympatize with a person who's got a taste for such shoes. Show me a character with a fancy fountain pen! That would be a different conversation...

I will definitely be tuning in to see if I will like it. :) That is an amazing collection of shoes. I guess one would have to love them a lot in the position that she's in. Unfortunately I don't really have any nice shoes nor the room to store them. I must admit that I hate having to store shoes... cause unless my closet looks like that (which it does not, but don't I wish), shoes just don't store properly and then end up heaped in a pile in our hallway or in our closet. Even as it is, I have too much shoes... cheap but a lot. A girl just has to have a lot of shoes - otherwise things don't match at all. LOL I hope this one is good!

Um... Hahahahaha. I'm not a fan of those kinds of shoes. Girly-girl shoes and high heels (er, kill heels?) are not my thing. But put me in front of a collection of skater shoes, sport shoes and sneakers and see Ani melt. Although, for odd reasons, I draw the line at Basketball shoes. Just not my thing. Hahaha. I guess girls do love their shoes, just depending on the type. Hee.

I'm gonna laugh in stitches if this show ruins real lives fulfilling cravings for more shoes. And I do know someone (a starving twig) who will choose shoes over food.
I am curious when the finale comes around, how many more pairs of shoes did any followers expand in their footwear collection. Be honest if you went and bought more shoes because of this show.

I don't know if I'll watchtthis drama even if I love shoes!! >.< One thing that I hate about Kim Sun Ah is her hair!! My goodness that is an ugly haircut for women of all ages!! If you ain't a cute little girl, the cut will mk,e you look weird and unflattering, imo. I hate cuts like this on women...it makes me angsty and I can't take the characters seriously cause their hair is so ugly... :'(
