I'm not Korean and don't speak Korean (though I've been learning... thanks Rosetta Stone!) and this is the only variety show I enjoy on a weekly basis. It makes me laugh, is super entertaining, and has the most appeal out of any variety shows currently airing because the brotherhood of those guys is just so fun to watch. I was sad to hear that Kang Ho Dong might be leaving even though I thought the show *might* survive without him, but if Na PD leaves too... there's no 1N2D. Without Na PD's evil schemes at the helm, and no Kang Ho Dong, the brotherhood and camaraderie built between all the members and the PD is gone. I don't know if they can recover from it.

This is certainly a sad, sad day. KBS is one of the biggest broadcasters in Korea (right?) so hopefully they can try to keep their money-makers in Kang Ho Dong and Na PD.

I'm not a huge fan of JYJ but according to JYJ news, I know (and I believe the whole world knows) KBS is a f**king Coward and Bullshit!
MCs and PDs also know that too. Maybe better than us.
I think that is why they want to go to a better network.
I really really love 1D2N and will cry more than 3 weeks if the show dies... but I will respect Na PD and Ho Dong's decision cos I'm sure they have their reasons.

i hate KBS for this.

among all the possible reasons behind this, i think they feel their effort are not appropriately appreciated by KBS. why else most of the veteran pds move to cable channel. they work their ass off, but other people are racking the money. anything government is very corrupted nowadays.

i love 1n2d to death. its the best show i've ever discovered in my life. i want it to be on forever.

but reading all these recent news about KHD and Na PD leaving, something must be up with how KBS has been treating them.

dont start saying KHD or Na PD are ungrateful, because 1n2d becomes popular and successful completely due to their efforts with the other casts and crews. KBS has no credit over it at all. KBS is the one who should feel grateful and appreciate them.

i'm tremendously sad because i love this show sooooo much. i'm still missing MC Mong and have been hoping for one day when he will return to the show. but now, i dont know if it will live long enough for Mongie to come back *wails*

i dont know where my stand is. i want my 1n2d but i also want whats the best for the casts and crews.

cant 1n2d as a whole more to cable? cant the cable buy 1n2d? they can make different show with different name. i just want the same people..

it's so unusual of hodong hyung to be uncomfortable in front of the cameras etc. I just hope that his withdrawal from the 1n2d will not be the show's ending..CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT THING IN THIS WORLD.I know it's hard to accept but as a fan,we must support Kang Hodong's decision..We can only hope for the BEST.But then again,the show must not come to an end just because he's leaving (if that will be final),they still have 5 members that can continue to give us laughter and entertainment.The staff and crew have brilliant minds..I know it;s gonna be a lot different without him on the show..But Life must go on.The show must move forward.This is a big challenge for them.Nonetheless,I will still support 1N2D with or without Kang Hodong..=)

WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING WITH THIS SHOW??!!??.. first it was seunggi being rumored to quit 1n2d then hodong and now Na PD???..i seriously wanna cry and get angry at the same time right now..oh the memories..this show has been my source of comfort for almost a year now..
Each episode brought me laughter and joy amidst my busy and stressful days..it was something i look forward to watching everyweek now....it was the show that opened my eyes to the treasures of the korean variety shows..now what's gonna happen to me and all the other 1n2d addicts if this show will end? Kdramas will never be enough to cheer me up..huhuhuhuhu...

on that note i'd rather they end it all at once rather than the show having continuously lower ratings because let's face it there will be no 1n2d without hodong and na pd..

Awww man! I just started watching this when the recaps were posted on this site...yes, I am a teensy bit behind, but I've only been doing the kpop/drama obsession thing for a year now. I hope that they both do what is best for them. Even if that means them leaving and me sob..err, being happy for them.

How much truth is there to the rampant rumors that the Big 3 treat their stars abysmally in regards to contracts and the like? And on an off topic question...what is SONE an acronym of in regards to SNSD fans?

1n2d is my weekly dose of crazy laugh or cry it takes me on an emotional roller coaster ride everytime I watch it... I kind of knew when I first started watching in back in 09 that if the end ever came for this show, it was going to hurt... ALOT! Granted the ony reason why I started watching this show was because of my love of Eun Jiwon oppa... have loved him since his Jekki days, but I found my self attached to the whole group of grown men who will jump into icy rivers just for the heck of it!! I am with everyone above who says we would like for the whole team of 1n2d (Jiwonne, Hodong, Mc Mong, Kim c, Taewoo, Suguen, Seunggi, all the original Pds Camera crews, Managers ) to move to a new network if KBS is that bad, but don't break up this family T.T PLEASE!! I don't ever want to see Jiwon cry again... and He does have a habit of "Walking away while they are at the height of their popularity" if Hodong and Na Pd does leave and 1n2d goes on, I feel like it is only a matter of time before Jiwon also leaves....

NO WAY. this just COMPLETELY RUINED my 1n2d weekend trip. I can't imagine 1n2d without Hodong AND Na PD, that'll be abit like a different variety show altogether =( But whatever happens, just hope it's for the best. *tries to remain optimistic*

perhaps they wanted a new environment. and i don't blame them. working 4 years on this show kinda makes you want to do something new

WTF is up with tv!!??... The shows I love to watch always gets axed. Uh..*doingggg* why don't they raise their pays?? lol Jersey Shore cast got a raise this season($100,000/per ep). Not bad from $10,000/per from their 1st season, Eh? lol.

NOOOOOOOOOO...this is crazy! Come on! Na PD and KHD are the pillars of the very show we enjoy today. It's not that Seung-gi, Su-geun, Tae-woong, Ji-won, and Jong-min are not good, but let's admit that the show has that extra spazz with Ho-dong and Na PD.

Like the rest of you, I was very upset when I read the news. Hoped it would never happen…but then I had a sudden revelation while rewatching old eps, and real old ones, starting from when LSG joined…they visited an elementary school with only8 students…went diving into icy Udo waters…did a guerilla concert…joined the national singing competition and even worked at a petrol station.

I realized…and admitted to myself as much as I hated it…that the 1N2D of old had alot more heart. I shed a tear when MC Mong broke down after winning his first Music Bank No.1, cheered at the ‘realness’ of it when Kim C took the place of LSG at the bungee jump and chuckled when they ended up on the King Sejong set for the night.

It might just be this spontaneity that’s missing now, of course in part due to how well they know each other, like almost how brothers do now. Of course, I don’t deny that there are ingenious moments now, here and there, with moving eps too.

My heart is heavy…but perhaps…it’s better to end on a high.

Hope KBS will not change any of the current actors at least for another year or two. New ideas should also be injected for the viewers to appreciate the show more. Director Na is such an asset to the whole production...stay with the team please...God bless to all of you.
